After a grueling seven-game series, the Stockholm Vikings were able to hold off the push from Davos and after just five games, the Calgary Wranglers moved on to the next round after defeating the Americans. So, there won't be any sort of magical run from the unexpected team this year. That doesn't mean that we can't still discuss what went down. Even though the playoffs are well into round two already, this Power Poll will focus specifically on the first round (even though the stats are kind of messed up). For this week's Power Poll, I want to know who you guys thought was the MVP of Round 1. It doesn't have to be from the winning team from either series. I just want to see who you all thought played the biggest role in his team's good performances. We have at least a representative from every team on the board, with an option for a write-in vote as well. Jody 3 Moons and Blake Campbell were reasons Davos could not prevail time and time again and both had strong performances. Oskars Harumpf led the scoring board for Davos with four goals in seven games. Jorma Ruutu may have been eliminated in five games, but that shooting percentage for three goals is incredible! Then of course Tyler Cote, Rami Jakobsen, and Jackson Miller have been lights out for Calgary. So who is your first round MVP? Let us know and make sure to comment!
