Last night we had our singles championship match and we, spoiler alert, crowned a new champion, Cian Mercer! With Mercer on top of the VHL Wrestling food chain, it is time that we finish out our tag team tournament to determine our inaugural champion. Mercer himself will team up with "Stone Cold" Steve Bosstin (The Tough Guys) and take on The Misfits, Zach Parechkin and Aleksanteri. Last night, Parechkin and Aleksanteri rematched with Doom and Rage (Wrestlers with Attitude) in a tornado tag-team match and lost! They did beat WWA in their tournament match however, and will be looking to repeat their success against The Tough Guys. Their match tonight, for the championship, will be a standard tag-team match. Tempers have still be flaring between Icicle and Koji Koenig, even after they almost never targeted each other in the Fatal 4-Way, and the two will face off tonight in a one on one match. Icicle has requested a five match series between the two, will tonight's singles match be the start of that? Shawn Howard has called our Mr. Molholt after being referred to as a jobber prior to his win in the Fatal 4-Way last night. Will he get his match tonight against the VHLW CEO? Mr. Molholt has only participated in the Royal Rumble and as a ringside spectator before, will he step into the ring for a singles match? Edwin Reencarnacion is coming off a title loss and is looking to rebound. He'll face off with one of VHLW's newer wrestlers, fan favorite Flip Rodriguez! Rodriguez has won his first two matches in the VHLW and while Edwin may consider this a tune-up, Flip will be looking to legitimize himself as a real contender in the VHLW! Finally, Jam Master J was taken down by Flip last night and Doom was largely inactive in his tag team match (Rage eliminating both opponents). The two will face off tonight! Rage will be taking the night off. We'll open with JMJ vs Doom, Icicle vs Koenig second, Howard vs Molholt followed by Edwin vs Flip, and we will finish with our tag-team championship! He stuck in it with Jam Master J and had the upper hand about half the match, he just needs to work on his recovering.
