Also, if I REALLY wanted to make an inane argument about how "higher shot total = higher save percentage," than I would look at QUE G vs. TOR G. They have identical TPE, and nearly identical builds, but TOR G saw 300 more shots, and had a decently higher save percentage. So my argument would be that this is "proof" that more shots are actually beneficial to a goalie numbers.

 

My real point being it's a thin argument either way. Although honestly, if their SV% was literally identical, I would probably go with the one with more saves, personally.

You forget however that TOR G worked with the likes of Shaw, Labatte, and LeBeau. #intangibles #experience
