Da Trifecta 1,896 Posted February 26, 2016 Share Posted February 26, 2016 Problems For Days Kai Roberts feels partially responsible for the loss in game seven to the Ottawa Lynx. He really hasn't helped this team out the way he thought he was going to. He has been the biggest non-factor player in the VHLM since his arrival. I mean his abysmal stats in the regular season showed it. Many will say that he was on a stacked team with better teammates. His reason is that he simply just isn't that good of a player. He should have did more to make himself a better player but he failed himself. He also knows that he will no longer be with the Yukon Rush as he joined them via trade from a waiver claim. He will be entered into the S48 VHLM draft and he will then be added to a new team. Kai's new home will be hopefully better suited to him. He is looking forward to developing more as a player and hoping that he can just become better. He still looks at old game film on Davey Jones and really wants to emulate his game as much as possible. Right now he seems like he is a little bit behind in his development and he is content with that. He has been working on getting his biography out so far that way he can let the world know a little bit more about him. Also he has been trying to get together a scouting report on himself that way GM's who are going to be drafting will know what they will be getting. Of course they know his player agent, Da Trifecta due to past relations with other players. This time it seems like he has come off a bit strong to start off this players career. If he can mange to turn things around, he may end up drafted to a team. Right now it stands that DT's attitude is what has been hurting his players draft stock all along. All that I can say now is that DT needs to learn to keep his mouth shut if he wants this player to actually be on a team. Of course there will always be a team who will take him in like the second. He is hoping that he can land in the lotto somehow. Many things could be the determining factor as to whether he does or doesn't land there. Kai has all the talent in the world and could become one of the best that DT has ever represented. It all comes down to the agents relationships with the current GM's. If he can prove that he can handle the way that the GM's handle things and shut up, he may help out Kai. As it stands right now no one can exactly pinpoint what will happen to him. All we know is that he is still in the VHLM and will be getting drafted in the next couple weeks. If he can manage to go a full season in the VHLM without creating further problems, he may help himself out.
