The VHL World Cup is looking for GMs!

 

As a GM, you'll be tasked with:

- Selecting a roster of players to represent your country

- Helping to generate discussion with your selected team-mates in both your respective team forum and in game threads.

- Submitting lines for each game (This means you will need to have some way of accessing SimonT hockey simulator).

 

Team List:

Team Canada

Team USA

Team Scandinavia (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Iceland)

Team Western Europe (England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Germany)

Team World (All other countries) 

Team Mercenaries (Any players not selected for the above five teams)

 

Things To Consider:

- From the offices of Draper himself, there will be a small TPE payment awarded to General Managers, providing an extra incentive for those thinking about applying for the role. 

- Remember, activity counts. Please give your roster spots to active members of the VHL whenever is sensible. If you're faced with a tough decision between selecting an active player and an inactive one, please give the active guy the nod, the whole site would appreciate it.

- Primarily, we will be looking to have teams represented by General Managers that own players of the same nationality. (E.g. ADwyer's player, Bogdan Podarok, is Russian, so he would be in line for the Team World GM job) . However, the role of Team Mercenaries GM is open to players of any nationality. 

- If you're someone with no previous management experience in the VHL, then a role as World Cup General Manager is a great way to introduce you to the basic concepts of managing a team!

- The World Cup does not have a fixed start date as of yet (this is determinant on the length of the playoffs).

I've won Silver with Team USA and have brought a gold medal to Team Scandinavia. Like last time around, the odds were stacked against us, but I'd love to try and bring another successful campaign to our nations and maybe start breaking some records for wins and tenure as a World Cup GM/Team Scandinavia GM.

i was going to apply for West Europe but how can i compete with @Phil! oh wait ill just say he cheers for England in international football competition and what everyone llose respeckt for him.
