The Bears are wanting to end the cup drought!

Over the last couple of weeks, you've seen a fair amount of announcements from teams stating that they're interested in Free Agents. From the Calgary Wranglers, Seattle Bears, Helsinki Titans and a couple others, it's become a norm in the media. With the playoffs now in the finals and heading to a game 7, the important Free Agent period is quickly approaching and it's likely we're going to see a rise in the amount of "Free Agent" related statements from teams over the following week or two. Often, in most articles, they explain why they want the players to come their and what's in store for the organization. Commonly, you here the phrases and statements along the lines of "we're so close and you'd be that extra push" or a promise to have them hoisting a championship high above their head. What teams haven't done are truly break down their team for the free agents and truly show them the truth as to what they have to offer. That was, of course, until this morning when GM of the Seattle Bears spoke out about the draft lottery and upcoming Free Agency frenzy.

"As an organization, you have to understand and accept the importance of contracts and the free agency process. In order to thrive and be successful, attracting free agents is a key factor for a majority of teams in becoming and finding success. For us, we're in the exact same situation as numerous teams are. By adding free agents, it will turn are club into a strong contender in the North American conference and could truly finalize our rebuild and the process in which we've been working on and through. We've heard it all over the last few weeks on how teams want the players to come their and that a championship is in store but you've never really seen in depth what they have to offer and quite frankly, it's bull shit. I'm going to lay it all out for the Free Agents and to show them that Seattle is a place where they will find success on multiple levels - from personal statistics to a playoff campaign".

:sea:We're young - not old and loyal as fuck :sea:

Jakab Holik believes in his team. He knows what's coming!

Something that is different than a lot of teams in the European conference, is that we're a young organization. From up and coming elite winger Bogdan Podarok, AK47, Sven Wolf, Jakab Holik and our prospects, we have a young core that has been committed to this process from day one. Due to this, we aren't a team that is going to become successful and than fall apart that following season. These guys have remained on the team for the worst part of the process, they aren't going anywhere once we reach the top. You come be a part of this and you will become a part of the family and you will be there for our highest part of the journey. That mountain we've been climbing, we're almost to the top. Come reach it with us.

:sea:TONS of assets we can move to become STRONGER:sea:

From numerous S51 draft picks, to older players or lower TPE players that could be moved, to the top picks we have sitting in our safe right now for the S52 draft - we have the assets needed in order to bring in some incredibly strong and deep talent. Yes, trading for assets doesn't get you everything and we're not going to rip our team bone dry of them. We're also not going to undervalue our assets. If you want those high end picks, be ready to bring out your wallet. However, adding these traded assets to our organization - along with adding YOU, the free agent, will make us the team to beat in our conference and potentially the league.

:sea:Roster spaces available, good players to cash in on:sea:

Along with our luxurious amount of current roster spaces (defense, some wings and center), we also have some fairly decent players that are up and coming or ready to fire off on all cylinders. Next season, we expect Podarok to unleash hell on the league and because Sven Wolf will be up there in TPE and skill, we think he's going to have a much stronger season too. These high open spots are opportunities for your player to unleash hopeless hell on our opponents, cash in on a hell of a year when it comes to production and rack of the success while we experience all of the rest. We can offer you top end minutes, top end line-mates and opportunities, as well as top line production.

:sea:We got some pretty attractive money in the bank:sea:

While we're all about players being loyal and signing for the least amount possible as it helps the team in being more successful  (more cap to spend on other talent), we will find a way to give you incentives in joining the Bears. If great, loyal teammates and high production and line possibilities isn't your forte, we can always talk contract. My job is too make you love your time in Seattle, as well as pursue a chance at the cup. I will accommodate my guys anyway I can.

"We want those free agents coming to us and not to other teams. We're willing to work and listen with them in order to make this happen. We can offer them such a great amount and all I need in return is their trust in the process we're going through. If we can add the right pieces this off season, we have a strong shot and turning this ship fully in the right direction and making a run with it".

I hate to see an article like this go by without any replies.

I love articles like this, for sure. Gotta love the McGregor pic as well.

we should have just signed everyone then gave up and traded them all at the deadline the same season

Now why would anyone do that, seems pointless to sign those FA's in the first place....hmmm

Easier conference for you this season though.
