That was great.

I loved very second. The best is the water bottle squirting, that goes a long way into telling this kid he belongs and that he is special just like all the other players.

Scary hit on ranger today. I'd say this is a 40 - 60 fault wise. 60 on killorn for being an idiot and hitting from behind regardless of ranger's position. 40 for ranger for being a complete bonehead and turning into the hit. There's a guy on you back and the league has said like 29932428319023 times don't put yourself in a position of danger. He turns his head into the hit regardless.

There won't be a suspension, only because they will deem the in-game punishment to be enough. I will agree with that too seeing as Ranger put himself in that position. It was obvious Kilhorn was going to hit him and sort of rub him out on the boards (giggity) but Ranger figured stopping and ducking out would be better for him. As much as I hope Ranger is okay, players need to learn that at their size and strength they can take some of these lesser hits to avoid the big whammy. Have to look at the big picture of the game/season/career.

As a Caps fan having come off a huge stretch of 6 points in 4 games against teams like San Jose, LA twice and Anaheim, seeing Toronto lose gives me hope that we may have a shot at the wild card spot. Both Toronto and Columbus pretty much lost their games in hand advantage over Caps last few days.

We still have a chance. Florida, Buffalo, Washington, Carolina, Calgary, NYI, Ottawa and Boston. 5 of those are winnable, but squeaking a win out of Washington and Ottawa are a must. Columbus and Detroit have tough schedules going forward.
