Well this will just be rambling ideas I have for the game that I'd like to see implemented so here goes:

I think this game as a whole would thrive even more if it was able to be made into a smartphone downloadable free app. I don't know how difficult that would be and what coding language would be used but I could see this as a huge plus to the game.

Removing the limit on how many of the same point tasks you can accomplish for  your 12 weekly TPE. By this I mean for example: being able to do six Radio 590's, claiming a thousand word Media Spot for the weekly 12 TPE, instead of for two weeks if you wanted, making two graphics/podcasts for the week, reviewing as many Graphics, Media Spots, Podcasts and Rookie Profiles until you reach the desired 12 TPE for the week etc.

I feel that this would offer more options to the achieving your point tasks and offering more flexibility to earning the weekly TPE.

Would also be nice to be able to use a purchased 8 week point task upgrade anytime that could be added as a top up to any PT, instead of just to make a MS, Podcast etc. Worth 7 instead of 6 for the week. It could also be used to help reach the 12 capped TPE weekly or even be used for uncapped TPE.

These are just some random suggestions that I have come up with. Feel free to let me know what you think below.

I actually like the second idea, I sometimes have several MS or 590 ideas going and need to wait to post them.

I mean I also like the first idea but I'll start with the short term haha.

mobile app would be dope, idk who the coders are here, but i'd be town to clicky clack some keys behind the scenes.

There aren’t any really. IPB has a lot of stuff with the forum done under the hood for us.

@Will does a good amount with the portal but mobile coding is a very different beast and would require an Apple developer account at the very least to get an iOS version. If we were ever to create an app we would likely need to outsource it to a professional.

Honestly I think our main objective should be more so making the site as mobile friendly as possible rather than focusing on a specific app. A very mobile friendly site works just as well as any app would. I don’t even know for sure if you can embed an IPB forum into app form.

Yeah, idk what your backend for the portal is, but I could hook a mobile app (android) up to it, for TPE, LOLO.

But I do some web development as well, so I'd be down to work with willith on something if he wanted to dance.

Questions for @Will for sure. I vaguely recall Python being mentioned but I'm sure there's more than that. Mind you merging the portal would never really be the tough part, merging the forum would be. IPB does a lot for us but that also restricts us quite a lot with what we can do. We're working on it but it's tough. Even getting the hosting how we wanted it was not a cheap or easy endeavour.

Would PHP be easier than Python ?

Off topic, here's a simple sight about coding: hourofcode.com. Just something to look into if your  interested in basic coding.

The back-end runs on Django, a web framework built on Python
