1. Mark calaway was always a player i saw doing well when i played against them, so to lose them is unfortunate, but we move on! 
 

2. I’ll be a little cocky but me!! I’m excited to be here and prove to myself, the league, the team and the GM that the trade for me was worth it. This season is personal and I’m excited to get out there and get back into 100+ point season form. 
 

3. i don’t know since i wasn’t here, but guessing from the boys, definitely not Scotty P! 
 

4. Like stated above, a locker room award called like GM’s choice or something would be super beneficial to the boys, if you have time to be active and talk to the boys you should get a little reward for it haha! 
 

5. Trades happen and it’s unfortunate when you have to move on from franchise players. We have another stud goalie who will carve their own path on this team so we build with them and thank the other for the memories!

I'm glad I can join a team that is so close. I hate to be the one to break that up, but I'm excited to be a part of this team.

I'm hoping to make a big impact. I was lucky to get 24 goals in my rookie season and I'm hoping to build on that.

You've seen this team way more than I have, but looking at the stats, they were a huge reason for the season's success.

 

4.     If you had to change any of the award or add award to the Vancouver Wolves presentation which awards, would you change or add and why?

 

You've got the gambit of almost every stat I'm not sure if there is anything else to add.

 

5.     So we traded our MVP tender to Toronto; do you know have these games circled on the calendar or is it just another game against Toronto? Explain….

 

I think they are important games for us. Toronto is great and we want to prove that this team is the one to bring home the Continental Cup.

1. Were we looking to trade PMB? I’m confused and would miss him the most.

 

2. I hope all the new guys to the Wolves take on a bigger role and contribute on our quest for a Continental Cup. 
 

3. Vidarsson was the MVP, kept us in many games as our offense struggled hard.

Why does it always seem like the off season drags on, and on and on …. Unlike the Don`t stop believing Song now stuck in my head. The song is at least good while the off season; well, not so much!! Here I am trying to think of a catch phrase for this week’s press conference with cars and now Star Wars on the brain; yes, I entertain myself very well as I never have a dull moment as long as my brain is around and no I don`t need substance aid to be as crazy as I am at times!! Either way, as I came up with the title I actually don`t remember what happened in A New Hope so it might be a fitting or not so fitting title to explain the thoughts of the Wolves entering a new season ……

Yes! We started off strong and I think we will continue to trend that way for the rest of the season.

Well, I would love more shots blocked, but wins are more important to me at this point.

Uhh...no...? My mind scrambled through the very unorganized brain directory and came up with nothing. Thorvy would if he knew it! He's not ashamed.

The Gunslinger show is awesome and a fun read! Though I thought it was interesting to see Slater sporting a mustache...

Let's see... Probably Logan Ninefingers and just name him Butterfingers because his moves are smooth like butter.

Oh for sure I’m happy.  Love this team and really enjoy everything that goes on with this team.  Frank is great.

I’d like my player to be a hitter and shot blocker more.  Other than that i am happy I’m on a team full of studs who get wins.

I can’t think of a song that starts with “Are you happy.”  My song in the locker room would be…. “I like big butts and I cannot lie.”

 

4.     What did you think of the Gunslinger show and the announcement of a new Assistant Captain? Was it the right choice?

 

Absolutely the right choice.  Asst Capts need to be able to step in when the capt isnt doing his shit and the two assts are right there to step it up.  

 

5.     If you had to create a nickname for a player on the current roster; Who would you make a nick for and what would the nick be? Why?

 

I guess I would have to pick Rip Wheeler to give him a new nickname and the nickname I’d give him would be “pedophile” or “pedi” because he must be doing something shitty since he’s not earning tpe like he should be doing.

Ha ha.  This one is something that I have given up on years ago.  When we had live trees, we’d do it 2 weeks before Christmas and leave it up until Jan 7, but then my wife wanted a tree earlier so we are now going fake tree which goes up the day after thanksgiving or Thanksgiving day and goes down the day after Christmas.

I'd say we've done well but expectations are cup or bust. So we won't know for a while.

I think Soju has held his own but has been rather inconsistent.

Only songs I can think of that have happy in them I don't enjoy. So pass. But if a teammate plays it I'll vibe to it I guess.

All captains and assistants were well deserved lots of good candidates who didn't get an A either. I haven't watched gunslinger but maybe I should check it out.

Kisslinger to King Slinger since he's got an accurate shot and shoots from everywhere. Wow my creativity sucks.

1. I am happier than previous years, but I think we can do more.

 

2. I have been happy with the start, but the last 10 games, I need to lead the team better.

Halloween Press Conference

 

Halloween was always one of the nights I loved the most as child even if my hockey usually meant I was on bus being drove somewhere while everyone else dressed up and took part in the trick or treats. If I did make it out trick or treating it was usually in full hockey gear!! LOL!!

Up Rip Wheeler’s ass was the first thing that came to mind, but when I think about it I’d add something is lurking in Rip Wheeler’s mind.

Logan Ninefingers.  He’s a crazy F, and he’d make any scary picture seem normal.  There’d be no reason to have fear.

I’m dressing up as a completely non interested person who doesn’t answer the door if someone is dumb enough to knock after 7 PM, because I will be sitting in the other room far away from the front door, with the tv turned up loud, watching a recorded Bruins game.

It would be Logan Ninefingers.  I’d exchange his gloves for ones with the missing finger on the other hand.

It depends…. If I was in the mood for a chocolate bar and they had the kind I liked, I’d take one, otherwise I’d leave a note that said if you want me to take one then put some good chocolate out there.

After being a kid, I only went trick or treating taking my kids, and never drunk when doing it.  But if the team went drunk trick or treating, the first one to pass out would be Rip Wheeler. He has no filter with alcohol, he’d be drunk before the party started, and Logan Ninefingers and Riley Martin would make sure Rip puked.
