Decent, he's doing well but the team as a whole seems to be having some bad luck.

Maybe? If there was like a most improved perhaps. 

4. There have been ongoing discussions about meme player names. Do you have any opinions on them? 
Meme names are a mixed bag for me. On one hand, the humor does add a sense of freshness to the stale-ish league. But new players might be turned off to the league if the meme names get our of control and the sense of 'realism' is gone.

5. Do you believe the VHL should bring back grading for point tasks?

Yes. Industry standard, why go against it?

6. At this point in the NHL season, which team do you believe has the best chance at winning the Stanley Cup?
Moneypuck and all the analyst talking heads say Oilers. I say Panthers go for 2!

Surprisingly good. Scored more goals total than my last player did in their first season!

Depends on the meme IMO they're fine as long as they are in good taste.

Nah, we're better off without grading stuff. Some people might take it too harshly nowadays.

Run it back. Florida takes it again. Barkov is the engine, Tkachuk the sparkplug and Bob the Cop pulls out magic tricks come playoffs, again.

Road. Plane trip sounds very american to me haha

No preference. I like both equally, because a great movie is a great movie, great tv show is a great tv show.

Hard to say, but I think Vegas and Winnipeg will be dangerous. In the East maybe Toronto and they can finally break the curse. If not New Jersey.

4. I think we have enough name issues, don't need any other naming variations

5. No, I think grading only causes a delay in getting TPE approved, and brings in favoretism.

6. Not sure I would put money on any team but Winnipeg is doing quite well.

7. Road trip no question, I hate flying, only do it when required

8. I like both, TV shows fit into a smaller time requirement so probably win out.  Don't often get lumps of 2-3 hours at a time to watch.

It's always going to be about the team game and setting ourselves up for playoffs. But I will say, now that I'm just one goal off the league lead, that'd be fun...

It's a very different place here now versus 60+ seasons ago - not just on the VHL, but on the internet in general. I think I like it more now, people just tend to be kinder, believe it or not. Very wild west on forums back in the day.

 

3. Who is your early pick for top leading scorer in the VHL?

Scorer overall is going to be Goncalves, I'd imagine. But I do think they won't be able to keep up being the top goal scorer and top 5 in assists all season, because that's an absurd case.

 

4. What defunct VHL/E/M franchise would you bring back if you had the chance?

It's not necessarily a defunct franchise, but I really wish Vancouver moved back to Quebec. It's just so much more character of a franchise, versus a generic city name (who has a NHL team) and team name.

 

5. Do you have any name ideas for your next player yet?

Haven't thought that far ahead, but I do tend to be a bit more practical with my names than most people. One thing I'm big on: I like unique first names at least if I can help it. Help my player stand out a bit more from the pack.

 

6. What would be your criteria for an MVP-calibre player in the VHL?

I wish people took into account the "Valuable" part more. There are already awards for most points, most goals, MOP, etc. ... give me something for a player who took their team above and beyond.

1. My hope is maintain top 5 is assists in the league

2. My experience hasn't been that different as I was still able to do the VHLM, VHLE and VHL with my current player.

3. I expect Maverick Goncalves to continue as #1 point leader

Honestly, with the way we've been playing recently, I don't think we need to reinvent the wheel too much. Maybe a fifth defender or something, but let's run it back.

Purple, of course. Gotta go with the team colors, plus Bucatini doesn't shy away from being a bit flamboyant.

I really want to top 100. It wasn't a goal at the beginning of the season, but now that I'm close I think I can get there - I'll say I finish with 103.

 

8. What kind of video games are your favorite, if any (ex. FPS, interactive, platformer, fighting, RPG, etc.)?

A lot of RPGs for me, really enjoy turn-based RPGs in particular. Metaphor Refantazio from late last year was extremely my shit.

I always post a PT before theme week is announced, so I don't really care what it ends up being.

 

3. What advice would you give to your past self when you first joined the VHL, given everything you know now?

 

Expect the sim engine to suck, some people to be assholes and be patient when building a player.

He's German, so he doesn't have a personality. He has a work ethic.

Because it will be interesting to see, I say she breaks all the records with multiple 8 point games to close the season. Total : 144

A house trained Raccoon. I have no idea why, but I find them hilarious.
