Big Mac Draft Predictions [2/2]

1. @11 Eleven (Scoringson)

This was a tough decision because like many others, and no disrespect, but I see a potential flaw that will hurt Scoringson's game which I will be most likely writing an article about if you wanna see that. Nonetheless I wish this flaw to not occur in his career, and the only contending player for this spot is Kevin Low. Who will be in this media spot, obviously and now I shall talk about his strengths. Scoringson is of course as you know a good and strong shooter. Will most likely lead his class in goals scored the previous season to being drafted. His passing is pretty up there for someone who wants to be a scorer and not a playmaker. His speed and skating is good enough to make him not look like a fool. He’s working on his defense, which will help his Reapers. Now to get started on his cons. Again no hate towards the man and I won’t include all of his 40's just some. His puck handling isn’t that good pretty decent in my honest opinion. For a scorer his penalty shot is pretty low, and he doesn’t want to lead a team. (Leadership.) 

 

2. @Smarch (Low)

As I said a tough decision. A reason why is because Scoringson is a forward and Low isn’t. But don’t let that hold you back from how good this man is. He has as much TPE as Scoringson but no one is talking about him. I’m on the rink of saying he is an offensive defensemen, yet I see him as more of a two-way player. He’s not that bad at shooting (70 TPE) and he’s a pretty good passer (70 TPE), and as his position states he’s pretty good at defense (70 TPE.) Just like Scoringson he doesn’t have important cons, except for checking, but I do hope he sees this so he can upgrade his checking. So he’s similar to a player who isn’t great at one thing, but good at a bit of everything. 

 

3. @Savoire Faire  (Chyrnoble)

Great Goalie, and future Best Goalie in the league. He will probably be picked lower than expected, due to his position. Also, just like I said with Low, he isn’t great at one thing, but good at every little one thing. Yes, this will spring up a topic such as 'But, Big Mac so you don’t know what type of player they are' , and that’s what makes them special. You don’t know what to do to stop them, and that’s simple. All I’m gonna say is he’s a great goalie period (.)

 

4. @Hybrid1486 (Kuwanger)

The only non-goalie in this top 5 who hasn’t scored a goal. That’s how good Kuwanger is. Boomer Kuwanger doesn’t need to score, and that’s that. Put the puck in his hands and it’s magic. He has 11 assists. The only player in this top 5 with more than 10 in either goals or assists. He’s a good passer, and an even better defender (Not according to TPE). His main downside is his shooting, but his excuse is he’s back shooting inaccurate slap shots. So there’s your number 4. 

 

5. @Quik (TEAR)

Big font for a big man. He’s definitely not gonna score, and that’s ok. He is an enforcer, and boy oh boy, I’m not sure about you, but I love a good enforcer. There isn’t much to say about Tear, he’s really physical and only has 2 PIMs. That’s crazy, and I hope he becomes a goon and becomes your player's nightmare. Just imagine a 6'8 50 year old bodying you that would hurt.

Nice article talking about the players. I think some color or pics would have really helped. Other than that I have no complaints.

Review: Nice to see an outside view of a draft where I wasn't really on the site as I didn't have a player at that time. It's great to see some diversity in the predictions even though they were far off (some got picked in the 4th round).  Just one advise for your articles, when a player has 70 in a stat, it is not 70 TPE. TPE is just the points earned and used to upgrade the attributes, so you could just say Passing is at 70 and it would be good. Keep up your articles so Gunnar will become a great player!
