Since the Mexico City King’s season ended shorter than anticipated it is now time to shift gears to see where their captain will land come draft day. Scott has impressed and climbed the rankings throughout the season. He currently sits ranked 16thwith 211 TPE and growing. In a recent article @Sullvino projected Scott to be picked well above his rank at #9. Some may think that is a stretch but only 8 TPE separate Scott from being ranked 10th.

So what are some traits that make Scott stand out to be projected 9th?

First, his goal scoring ability. He can put the puck in the net. Period. He was 7thin the VHL and started way behind in TPE at the beginning of the season. Next, Scott’s leadership activity is world class. He is an active locker room presence and liked by his teammates. Scott was responsible for fuelling his team and founding the so-called “Cartel”. Last is a trifecta. His small size that grants him shiftiness, speed, and the ability to get open to make and take passes. Scott can put up the assists too, not just the goals.

Look for this young talent to make waves and shock some folks on draft day.
