FrostBeard 2,049
Well then, not ECN content this time, but here we will be looking back at August of 2017. A day when Stockholm Vikings traded Future Hall of Fame goaltender Rhett DeGrath to Davos for a welfare taking season younger goaltender mist4ke. It surely did spark a lot of questions as this was a completely weird move, especially considering that mist4ke, the player they acquired, was traded away again next season to Seattle Bears. I am quite unsure why would anyone trade a better player in his 3rd season straight up for someone who is in his 2nd season and not even close to being as good in the same role. What did spark my interest on this is why are there so many conversations on that trade topic considering that it was an off-season trade. Yes, it was a very weird trade from Stockholm's perspective but even that shouldn't attract interest and generate over 290 comments and have over 1000 more views than second most viewed trade topic on Forums.
