1. A week break is nice! But it’s definitely hard to keep the motivation that’s for sure!

 

2. I watched the beginning of it between work and my run! Had to see where myself and @Rkhockey9went.

 

3. 100% we are trying to build something here that is dominate and sustainable. This is only the beginning. 
 

4. Something tells me there may or may not be some movement before Miami picks at 19. 
 

5. I write with my right hand and everything else right, but in hockey I shoot left. 
 

6. Miami will always be my VHLM home, yes yes yes.

3) Should be, solid duo for sure! 
4) Shoulda grabbed bazooka last season!

5) I’m normal, so right handed.

Not at all this time.  I’m recovering from shoulder surgery so doing things like typing is slow with one finger.  Im looking forward to start of season though.

I wish i had because i like the streaming.  There are some good commentators on the streaming.

I dont want to say yes, but i think you might be right.  Of course it depends on whether there are trades that mess it all up.

I havent paid attention but i think you should draft the most active player available.

I am right handed but i can play basketball just as good left handed and i can hit a baseball from either side of the plate.

I would be happy to get in the locker room to support the team but mostly to give scurvy shit, and since im crashing this press conference i dont expect admission.

1. Nah, this is my first off-season so I'm just having a good time making graphics and whatnot. Plus, Simon has been off-kilter lately for ProAm so it's not bad that he gets a little break before the season, lol.

2. I did not—actually, I'm realizing more and more I just don't know where things other than the ProAm are streamed. Which, btw, I now have my first career point (in 56 games, lmao). Let's goooo. 

3. I'm excited for you guys. That'll be fearsome in a few years for sure. Always hard to say what a future will look like, but you guys are both quality and should add some oomph to the LR and on the ice. 

4. The VHLM draft is gonna be sick. I'm really excited for it—I missed my own minors draft in the PBE by being a waiver claim so this is the first time I'll get drafted in a minors anywhere! I'm projected to go a bit before Miami is on the clock so I'll miss everyone, but why not go with a diamond-in-the-rough type, first-gen create and give them a team they can be excited about?

5. I'm right-handed but can do many things lefty pretty decently (like throwing!). 

6. I'll prob hang out in the Miami LR, ya. But although I was only on the team for a short while, I'm really happy to have Marauded. Big props to @Ricer13 who is a consummate pro.

3.      Speaking of NHL trades, what was the biggest surprise trade in your opinion?

 

4.      The VHL/VHLM awards came and went.  Did you watch the presentation and what did you think of the presentation this year?  I thought Lucy did an awesome job.

 

5.      2 players were inducted to the VHL Hall of Fame this off-season with Nico Pearce and Jacob Stone being added.  Do you have aspirations for your player or future player to try and achieve a Hall of Fame career?

1. Definitely has been long! Been really looking forward to my first full season! Very eager to see how Miami does this season!!!

2. I would like to think Chicago did okay with what they did! To be fair it can't get much much worse, so anything helps! Very happy they got Knight though! 

3. I think Marchand to Florida was not expected ! I understand Boston wanting to re build but sending him to Florida I didn't think would happen. Will be cool to see how that shakes out come playoffs 

4. Unfortunately I missed it. Congrats to everyone that won! And from everything I've read it seems like lucy did a great job! 

5. Most definitely! I think it would be cool to have Mantzz make it there with all the greats someday! 

6. I think it would be awesome to see that! More games the better if you ask me

Will be good to get going! I’ve missed the VHL and am happy to be back.

 

2.      The NHL trade deadline came and went. Did your team improve at all with the trades?

 Not exactly…we did get some good assets for the future though. Like all the moves the Bruins made except for Marchand. 

 

3.      Speaking of NHL trades, what was the biggest surprise trade in your opinion?
The Marchand and Carlo trades were something with them going to division rivals. Also, Rantanen being moved again back to the Central.

 

4.      The VHL/VHLM awards came and went.  Did you watch the presentation and what did you think of the presentation this year?  I thought Lucy did an awesome job. 
Not live, but I checked it out. A great presentation for sure!

 That’d be awesome, but not the #1 goal. Just want to be on some good teams with good people, and hopefully win as a team.

Well, getting bounced out of the playoffs early usually makes the off season drag on, but in the end I’m just looking forward to the new season to start up so that @Scurvy will stop whining in the Vancouver locker room about how long its taking to start!!

 

2.      The NHL trade deadline came and went. Did your team improve at all with the trades?

 

Right now it’s hard to say because it appears that it was done for the future.  I’m kind of sad that @Scurvy’s favorite player, Brad Marchand, got traded though and it surprises me Fredrick is gone too.  

 

3.      Speaking of NHL trades, what was the biggest surprise trade in your opinion?

 

Guess I should have looked at this question beforehand, but I did get a big surprise when I saw Marchand go and Frederick too.  I hope it lights up Pasternak’s ass to get him going the rest of the season.

 

4.      The VHL/VHLM awards came and went.  Did you watch the presentation and what did you think of the presentation this year?  I thought Lucy did an awesome job.

 

I didnt watch the awards but I was very much impressed with Lucy’s job at the awards.  She took it to a new level and has done an incredible job with the awards.

 

5.      2 players were inducted to the VHL Hall of Fame this off-season with Nico Pearce and Jacob Stone being added.  Do you have aspirations for your player or future player to try and achieve a Hall of Fame career?

 

Not really.  I would like my player to get a lot more shots blocked and hits, and a butt load of fights.  Other than that, as far as any kind of awards, well the Continental Cup is all I want.

 

6.      Would you like to see a VHLM All-Star game?  

 

Absolutely.  It would be really cool to have that included in the VHL.  It would put a little spark in the vhlm and the off season.

It would be nice for my player to have twice as many shots blocked and several more hits and maybe dropping the gloves a couple times by now would be good.

 

2.        What superpower would you rather have?  Invisibility or extreme strength? 

 

Hmmm.  Invisibility could be used in a creepy way, so I’m gonna go with extreme strength.  But they both have advantages.

 

3.        St. Patrick’s Day is coming up.  Any plans?

 

I have nothing planned for St Patrick especially since I have had to stop drinking alcohol, at least until the next court date.  So…. Business as usual.

Since I am crashing this press conference, i did not look at Miami’s games yet and I will say congratulations on your first win.  I hope you continue to chip away at the wins.

I have nothing against cats or cat people.  Well…. Nothing against cat people, but I have very little use for cats, especially the ones that come in our yard at night and shit in the garden and flower beds and then I have to keep our dog from looking for cat shit.  Does that answer that question good enough?

Absolutely.  Right sock, left sock, right skate, left skate, lace right skate, lace left skate.  Any variation then I gotta start over.

1. So far my player has been playing decent! Still believe there’s another level to get to!

1. Always participate rarely do well. Same thing this year. Not the best not the worst. More points than the wife is all I care about. 

2. I'm not going to sit down with the intention of watching a game unless it's bucks playoffs. Even then probably not tuning in until halftime.

3. Mantzz is doing alright! Honestly Wish he was doing more but there's plenty of season left.

4. I don't really have a least favorite it's all pretty enjoyable to me! 

5. Would be happy seeing it broken! Can't say ovi doesn't deserve it. Records are there to be broken!
