Prague Prospects' First Round Playoff Perfomance

Recommended Posts

In a GM’s dream come true, all eight of the Prague Phantoms’ prospects made the VHLM playoffs allowing them to gain valuable experience. Here is a quick summary of how each prospect did in Round 1 of the S73 VHLM Founders’ Cup Playoffs.

(S73) RW - Dan Baillie Jr (SSK): 5 GP, 4 G, 2 A, 6 PTS (Lost 4-1 to Houston)

The hulking winger did everything he could to keep the defending champions in the series but to no avail. He led the Wild with 4 goals in the series and scored the game-winner in the only game Saskatoon would win.

(S73) RW - Secel Keller (SSK) 5 GP, 1 G, 0 A, 1 PT (Lost 4-1 to Houston)

After scoring in the first game of the series, Keller was relatively quiet after that as his line was overwhelmed by the Bulls and were -6 in the next four games.

(S73) D - Zachariah Kisslinger (OTT) 5 GP, 0 G, 3 A, 3 PTS (Lost 4-1 to San Diego)

The behemoth blueliner played a decent two-way game as he assisted on three goals and was among league leaders and second on the Lynx with 10 blocked shots but was -4.

(S73) RW - Theodore James St Louis (OTT) 5 GP, 1 G, 0 A, 1 PT (Lost 4-1 to San Diego)

St Louis seemed to struggle in his first taste of playoff action after a strong regular season. He did manage one goal in the first game but was -4 for the series as the Lynx lost in 5 games.

(S72) RW - Ernie King (PHI) 4 GP, 0 G, 0 A, 0 PTS (Lost 4-0 to Miami)

Like many of his Reaper teammates, King was held pointless as Miami dominated only allowing Philadelphia to score two goals the whole series. His line was -6 against the Marauders.

(S73) C - Andre Lebastard (MIA) 4 GP, 1 G, 3 A, 4 PTS (Won 4-0 vs Philadelphia)

Looking to move on from last season’s first round loss after being up 3-1, Miami took care of business sweeping the Reapers. Lebastard was one of seven Marauders to notch a point per game in the series.

(S72) D - Riley Knight Gee (HOU) 5 GP, 2 G, 8 A, 10 PTS (Won 4-1 vs Saskatoon)

What a coming out party for the Bulls’ dynamic defenseman! In his first playoffs, RKG led all blueliners with 10 points after the first series and was second in the league with 8 assists as Houston dispatched the defending champs in 5 games.

(S71) LW - Jack John (MIN) 6 GP, 1 G, 0 A, 1 PT (Won 4-2 vs Las Vegas)

John helped Minnesota advance by providing a physical presence with a team-leading 20 hits and potting a goal in the first rounds series.
