It has been a while since I did a team review and the last one was about the Ottawa Lynx. Looking back at it, I had a blast doing one so here is another. Presenting the Yukon Rush (pre-season) team review! If you didn’t read the first one, I’ll run you through what’s in a media spot like this. First, we’ll have draft and player review.

Team Review

Yukon’s first draft dated back to S31, making 4 picks at that time. Now they are in S74 with the draft coming on Sunday, 7PM EST. Remember to catch that live on twitch! Moving on, Yukon has had many seasons in the VHLM and is one of the most experienced teams. In 648 GP, they have 608 points which is not bad when the league only had half the teams as compared to the present time. Yukon has not had 2 great seasons and are currently in a rebuilding state (I think). In S71, Yukon topped the Western Conference with 109 points. This proves that they so have what it takes to be a contender. In the VHLM, teams are not expected to have continuous success because it’s a development league and players leave after 1 or 2 seasons to go to the VHL. But Yukon has great potential with @MexicanCow123 as their GM.

Draft Review

S74 VHLM dispersal draft just ended, perfect timing for this right? So Yukon had 3 picks in the first round, picking Jonas Stormsson @Kyle, Muffbeav @.sniffuM and Pistil Stamen @DMaximus. Stormsson is the highest tpe pick for Yukon and this is a great pick for the third overall. He’s a consistent welfare earner with a the most recent update having a media spot. If he continuous to earn, he would be a great addition to Yukon and Calgary. Moving on the Muffbeav. A great D man with 4A for the Las Vegas Aces in a short lived S73. .sniffuM is a seasoned veteran with amazing presence in the league, being a VHL GM himself. He’s been earning consistently and started with a 76 base tpe with boost him to 142 tpe currently. Muffbeav has great potential that will come with time. Pistil Stamen was their final first round pick and this Brazilian center is a great pick. He played a short season for the Reapers before the draft. All 3 picks are active players that are here to stay and this will an exciting season for Yukon as they had 8 picks after that too.

Player Review

Eoin Byrne @LatinViking – With 24 points last season, he’s a solid D man for Yukon. He will most likely stay in the VHLM next season, only because he is far from capping. A consistent earner, 10-12 tpe each week. Eoin will be a trustworthy D man for any team he plays for in the future including the Wranglers.

Theodore Hoffman @snackhero – He’s also a earning 6 tpe per week from welfare and practice facility. Hoffman played all 72 games with Yukon and had 19 points to go with a -24 rating. He is a slow earner as compared to the rest of the players in the league but only time can tell if he will change.

Vlad Imir @Big Dee – He racked up 46 points his season with Yukon and that’s great for a team that didn’t do well this season. With 223 shots on goal, he s definitely a shooter that just tries to get the puck on net for tips and rebound shots. 8 power play goals also prove that he’s a sniper on the man advantage which is what Yukon needs during crucial times.

We have come to the end of the Yukon Rush team review. Yukon has a bright future ahead with the massive picks they just had so I'll be watching out for them to make a great run. Can they dominate again? That's a question that I want answers for soon. This is made without any biasness, so I hope you guys enjoyed it. I have chosen to start from the last team on the team list for the fun of it. Look out for the next one on the Saskatoon Wild!
