  1. I mean I get it, it sucks to lose. I didn't anticipate Caps coming in and putting up 7 without Ovie. But Emery rushing across the rink to maul Holtby was incredibly stupid. Holtby didn't even take his gloves off. The boarding attempts to Erat and Backstrom. Like come on. Obviously suspensions resulting in this game.It just frustrates me because I think the Flyers have talent but I don't see how gooning around does anything at this point. See how well it has worked for Buffalo.....
  2. How many Flyers going to get suspended after tonight. What a bush league amateur outing from so many of them. Not Caps fault you guys can't prevent less than 7 goals from coming in on a night when we don't even have Ovechkin on the ice. It's fine Flyers will adjust slowly, league is changing. Suspensions for tons of players, Emery on the top of that list and they won't make the playoffs. Grit alone doesn't win anymore. It's a speed dominated league this year.
  3. According to her. Of course she would say that. Maybe he has beaten her, maybe he hasn't. But I'll wait until we see a proper court ruling or some modicum of fact before I jump on that case. I've seen far too many things to just say "he has beaten her." Considering the judge let Varly travel with the team, he turned himself in, I honestly doubt it's as severe as the "charges" say it is.
  4. Kicked who in the chest? No credible sources have released actual details about what even went down.
  5. Talbot is a good player having an off year on a roster where even someone as talented as Giroux is struggling. Downie creates more than Talbot in terms of work on the boards, hitting etc. But when paired with talent who is on Talbot is excellent supporting cast. With how hot Duchene and O'Reilly have been Talbot should do fine. It's a fair trade in my opinion.
  6. He was allowed to travel with the team. Obviously not that serious of a deal. My guess is that it is a minor domestic issue blown out of proportion by the black and white letter of the law.
  7. I do have Gamecenter but I'd like to try and get this working for future reference. I can see one of the games on tonight, but when I go to click on it or do anything with it...nothing happens. I can't play I can't stream I can't really do anything with it. Any advice would be great.
  8. Are you joking? Forum activity is low and you don't think getting things graded before 2 weeks is an issue? I get that your lazy post vacation but come on.
  9. Yes? May want to get your grading team in order there Commush.....
  10. Attending my first NHL game tonight as Caps come to town to take on Flames. Roommate is a bit worried about us getting mugged wearing Caps jersey's ha.
  11. Yeah as I run the Facebook page I don't know much about what your talking about either.
  12. Okay....seriously Jardy? There is no way your this fucking confused about it. Enough trolling please.....
  13. Rift stinks up the joint to give us our second loss of the season. Like a two face, I flipped the coin. I felt like sleeping in for this one. Sorry boys. Penalty killing huge for the Tits here. Big win for their confidence to be sure.
  14. Tomas Valiq was a LW. But he switched to center. Nicklas Valiq and Alexander Valiq play on defense. A good rule of thumb to figure out who's who and who goes were would be to just look at the lines. All you need to change now is switch TOMAS Valiq from defense to center.
  15. Pensfan....the traitor....we won though, as we should!
  16. May not be pretty...but at least even when I play bad we pick up the wins!
  17. Considering all the other "Space" movies that have done cheesey lines (Armageddon) and cheesey characters...I feel this one did a fine job of making it a bit better. The characters had back story but it was super light, which was the point. The film wasn't about as much who they were as what specifically Bullocks character had to struggle through. The decision and to avoid spoilers but her back story with her family I felt was smart. It would of been very easy to go a different route for that, and give her other motivation to survive. But it was deeply rooted in a single characters struggles disconnected from the rest of the world. I felt that was smarter than what could of easily been worse. I will agree that some of the lines when she is by herself can be...a bit much, however I felt her performance carried them the few times they happened. I think the focus was right in that movie, more so on the pure near art quality of camera work and visual stuff with very very simple characters. I didn't feel like I wanted to know more about those people, so the lack of crazy in depth back story helped. Keep in mind I'm a huge character guy when it comes to film/TV so it was even a surprise coming from me. But some times I feel like under stated character development and a very simple plot are a good way to essentially get that out of the way for what the rest of the film is about. I think more complex character development may of hurt the pacing and what the film was really about tbh.
  18. As could have you Commish.....

  20. Any status update on the implementation of this skin?
  21. How does this thread not exist yet? Saw Gravity earlier this week, Tuesday to be exact. Holy wow what a great film. Up there with some of the best in my honest opinion. Very simple plot, that avoids any typical Hollywood cheese lines or things of that nature. But the cinematography in that film...my goodness. One of if not the best I have ever seen in any movie. Some of the most majestic destruction I've ever witnessed. If you like the art of filmmaking go see this in Imax 3D. It's worth it. I've never been a big fan of 3d either and felt the best 3D movie Avatar still felt like it made a big deal out of the 3D effects at the expense of the film. The use of 3D in gravity felt natural, it never distracted me...hell I never even noticed it was some big 3D moment either, which from me is a huge compliment. It was organic and natural and made even more excellent by the great camera work.
