  5. le sigh. We had a good season, but the lack of power play production killed us. WE'LL GET EM NEXT SEASON BOYS
  6. I dreamed a dream once. But that dream is over now
  7. That win: That power play: That shot against total:
  8. It was close for a game with 9 powerplays. I'll take that as a good thing?
  9. Because somewhere on the spectrum is a little corner labeled "Spade" which is all my own
  10. I was messing around with Franchise Hockey Manager 4 after the issue of the sim mechanics came up during the insane thread that was the MVP thread. I've made some good head way. First, the good: Easily customizable league, I actually set up the league so that it had all the teams in their respective cities and such. Easily edited players. More up to date sim engine. Ability to expand and contract league in game. Custom draft classes. In dept strategy and organization set up. Now the bad: On first attempt, could not get teams with lower than 20 players on active roster. Could not have 1 player on multiple lines to fill out full roster. Could not start game with fewer than 20 players on roster. Different skill layout which would change how players are built. Would require insane amount of editing to get ready for league. No option for 5 team playoff in 8 team format. I took some picture but they're apparently too large to include here =( I've only just begun looking in to this and only spent about an hour and half messing around with it so far, but I'm interested to see if anyone else has any experience with this program and what the general consensus is as far as other sim engine options. Best, Spade
  11. Didn't even buy NHL 18 this year =/ the GM mode has gotten so stale, and I'm sick of the game not rewarding you for doing actually smart hockey plays. I want a true hockey simulation, not a hockey arcade game.
  12. I have one of the franchise hockey managers, I'll play around with it a little tonight and see what I can come up with
  13. OH JESUS H FUCK. THE TENSION. YOU COULD CUT THE TENSION WITH A KNIFE. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  14. Is EHM or Franchise hockey manager out of the question? I personally am a HUGE supporter of EHM 07, though I know that has hardware issues we would be unable to work around.
  15. Here ye, here ye. Come hear the good news which is a break down of the TPE each team in the VHLM has. Being the stocking league for the VHL, it's always good to see which teams are improving, and how TPE effects league structure. RUSH. You heard it hear people, darkhorse pick to win it all. Even though they have to "play in" to the playoffs against sasky, they have the Lynx in the next round. We could see the favorite for the final come out of that series. Not to be completely left behind, Ottawa had a few points to put together and are closing in on that 11 hundred. Let me just take this moment to mention that I am super impressed by what Lavar Ball @Mr.Baller has become, and I moved on that team waaaay too early which I am going to chalk up to a rookie GM mistake. So cheers mate, good luck in the playoffs this year. Olso Ivan Morozov @solas has had a very impressive end of the year, and I am honestly on the edge of my seat to see the playoff series between them and my Aces. The Aces are as we are. I sent in some new lines that I was hoping to get to see before the playoffs, but I'm going to have to hope that these lines gel as we'll get our first real look at the new look Aces game one of the playoffs. Sasky. Start that scoutin process. I'm actually impressed at not a single TPE was earned all season for this team. WE'LL SEE ALL YALL MU FUCKAS IN THE PLAYOFFFFSSSSS As always, thanks for reading. Best, Spade
