It's always interesting when things get shaken up. Moscow's trades seem mostly trading picks that are unlikely to give much in return for bit players, though if you weren't gonna use them anyway, might as well get something. I've been teammates with Evan Lawson my whole career, so we always find some time to get a bit of training in. I actually did a few back when we were first creating brands. Canmore is the obvious answer here since a retiring player on a team unlikely to make the playoffs is usually the prime candidate for trading. As a less obvious answer, I wouldn't be surprised if Helsinki decided they needed another couple pieces and dangled Dan Montgomery or Jesse Wilson around. We're winning back-to-back cups of course! Realistically, with Ironside and Stopko gone, we're probably competing with New York and Vancouver for a wild card spot. I believe I'll have a lot of pressure to lead this team, but the signing of The Charm is a big help, and Tzuyu is well on his way to dethrone Malenko as top point scoring defender.

I normally agree to a point that resims should be avoided as much as possible but since the issue was pretty significant and the simmer was at fault (and given the inability to just individually resim the games in question), it's the best course of action here. Also, just because someone didn't receive a vote doesn't mean they were completely ignored, it's just a factor of the official ballot only allowing for 1 vote. If we were doing something like voting for top 3 then you can see a lot more nuance in the results.

Where do I see how long my contract is for? I don't remember.

Pretty likely, though I'm not sure what I'll make yet. Part of me wants to go complete opposite and try just a straight goon defender who just loads up on hitting stats but I don't know how viable that actually is. I'm liking it so far, probably partially because I've landed on good teams that have been successful. Most of the changes I've seen since I've joined have been good ones and it's always good to have a leadership team willing to make changes when necessary. I probably know a little more now than I did when I first started but still not much more than the basics. Not really, I just tried to think of a last name that could be read backwards and still kinda work lol. Durian-Watersmellon Blast! No because I don't endorse rival brands (and it'd probably smell bad). I'm hopeful we can take the gold this year, as it's the last thing I need to join the Triple Gold Club. I think part of it is that MOP tends to be slanted towards skaters than goalie's inheritly, similar to how NFL MVP is typically QB and MLB MVP are hitters (that's the logic behind having separate Goalie and Defender awards but only the 2-way for Forwards). So it ends up turning into a best skater award unless a goalie goes above and beyond against a weak class of skaters.

Yeah it probably should be moved up to before the end of playoffs. I just looked at when it was posted the last couple seasons and copied that.

Yeah, it's always good to be on top, though I think the only others still active from that class are Dragomir and Iseult. It's also telling how much team matters for success. Dragomir has had a significant TPE lead forever, yet he had to suffer Quebec for years. He's been great so far. It can be a bit quiet at times but we've had good times as well. Game recognizes game. Winning more cups is the ultimate goal. I think I'd need to get some personal awards if I were to make a HoF push, but the fact that it's a possibility at this point is more than I expected for my first player. I think expansion is great for any league that can support it. More spots means more players get a chance to shine. EFL recently expanded and everyone agrees it's a lot better for it.
