  1. Oh trust me, I am included in that thinking. However the VHL is 50 seasons deep, choosing a position you want to choose is more important than a need.
  2. But at the time of their creation they were needed and they so happen to want to create at that position. The hard part is GM's often go with Goalies.
  3. Is Brayden Schenn Russian? I could use him
  4. We don't go by what is needed, we go by what the user wants to do. We aren't a league in dire need of a certain position, we are in dire need of active users regardless of the position. The reason we don't have one up is because you can find a home here regardless of what position you sign up as.
  5. Question, Gooning's player was on Davos and he created a new player who became property of Davos once Ahma stepped down. So why was he forced to select his player again?
  6. At least we didn't have to sign a big name free agent goalie to compete.
  7. THIS IS NOW CLOSED
  8. I agree that if a teammate gets injured you get mad, but like @Mr. Power said you get even on the scoreboard or with a big legal hit. You don't go after a player's head and think that it makes up for it. Schenn ran into Murray on a hockey player that wasn't even close to malicious. I'm going to guess that hockey isn't your first sport when it comes to supporting a team?
  9. Wait so couldn't this whole conversation be avoided by just saying "Sestito was in the wrong" after my comment? I mean all I said was that because of Sestito I hope the Pens lose in the first round. You then went on to tell me that Sestet's actions were justified because of Schenn making a hockey play and injuring the goalie of the Pens.
  10. Yes but Sestito's reaction doesn't at all work for what happened.
  11. Aren't you basically saying what I'm saying then? You're saying you wouldn't care if your goaltender got hurt yet you aren't really showing that same reaction in this thread. Maybe you mistyped there though.
  12. Stop comparing this to anything other than Hockey. You have a perfect comparison right in front of you, another hockey hit. Sestito did what he did, but Schenn legally crashed the net looking for a goal, you are basically saying what Sestito did was justified because his own player was legally accidentally hit. If that's the way you think, that is whats wrong with the game today.
  13. Uhhh you are comparing apples to oranges man. Schenn skated towards the net, actually attempted to avoid Murray. This isn't a case of a guy colliding with a goalie on purpose to injure him. My comment was centred around Sestito who purposely went to Ryan White and raised his elbow up to blindside hit him. HUGE difference. I don't give a shit if they are rivals or not, Schenn looked to avoid the goaltender, Sestito didn't look to avoid the elbow hit to White. By the way, a car and a hockey hit are hardly comparable haha
  14. Hahahahaha I've watched the play 10 times and Schenn actually skates so hard to get around Murray and not hit him that your comment is funny. If you think that is intentional, I don't know what to say to you.
  15. Who do you prefer as a render? (List several)
  16. That is my reasoning haha. Sestito is a chump and his hit on Ryan White is why Pittsburgh and their never-ending cheap shots don't deserve to advance (i.e. Neal, Scuderi etc..)
  17. After Sestito's actions recently, they don't deserve good things.
  18. Yeah even giving up a 3rd in a rather lengthy draft would make more sense if anything.
  19. He'll probably still give up a 2nd.
