  1. 1) Do you think you can up your production next season? 2) What do you like about the VHL? 3) If the opportunity came, could you see yourself managing a team? 4) What do you hate about the VHL? 5) Which upcoming draftee are you most excited to watch? 6) Which upcoming draftee would you like to see on your team and maybe play with them?
  2. 1) Very excited. It'll be a lot of work but I think I'll learn a lot and have fun doing it 2) Honestly I'll be happy to go anywhere, but I'm thinking I'll go in the mid to late 2nd round at this rate 3) Like above I'd really just be happy to play anywhere 4) I like how the community feels so close and it's almost like everyone knows each other 5) I've mentioned this to Beaviss but the layout can be a little confusing to new members so something about making stuff easier to find
  3. 1) It hurts. I thought we'd sweep the playoffs tbh. But Oslo worked their asses off and they deserve it 2) It's a cliche, but I'd be happy to play for anyone. As long as I get drafted, I'll make my case and show that team that they didn't make a mistake drafting me 3) They're a good team. It's unfortunate they lost so early in the playoffs but I respect them and I'm sure they're gonna be a good team next season 4) I mean I would like to stay with the Rush but I'm also open to playing on another team as long as I'm needed 5) Boston, because I used to live there
  4. As the VHLM season and playoffs come to a close, I'd like to congratulate our champions, the heavily favored Yuko- wait, Oslo won? Yes you heard it correctly folks, the Oslo Storm cap off the underdog story of dreams, taking out the Yukon Rush in 5 games. After Yukon capped off an absolutely dominating regular season going 62-8-2, the Rush faced the LVA in round 1. It's clear that the Rush came into the postseason as the favorites to win it all, after dominating regular season performances from Leph Twinger, Centis Kurtutecis, and Sergei Kovalev. On defense they boast a very respectable blue line with Alvaro Jokinen, Billy Pilgrim, Cayden Saint and Shawn Glade rounding out the top 4. In net they have two great goalies in Johnny Havenk and Greg Santos. Round 1 for the Rush ended as quickly as it came, beating out LVA in 5 games to face the winner of Oslo-Ottawa. The Oslo Storm took that one in convincing fashion amidst a lineup scandal. The Rush and Storm split games 1 & 2 however Games 3 & 4 caused problems, overwriting the first two games. This obviously called for a re-sim, which resulted in Oslo taking a stranglehold on the series, 3-1. However the Storm took Game 5 early, with Yukon's Shawn Glade scoring the game's opener, but the Storm would answer with 3 goals in the first. Oslo carried that momentum into the second period, going up 5-1 before Leph Twinger and Vesto Slipher answered for Yukon. The Rush were dominating play in the third but Oslo's Rauno Palo dashed Yukon's hopes of a comeback, by making it 6-3 in the third, and winning the Founder's Cup. The Cup winning goal was scored by Mikka Pajari, scoring his first goal of the postseason, and was assisted by Shane Appelle who tallied his first playoff point on the goal. Yukon has a lot of questions to answer now, with a good chunk of their roster leaving to play in the VHL next season. However there is one looming question: Why didn't Yukon starter Johnny Havenk play any games in the playoffs?
  5. He awkwardly sips his water as the questions begin
  6. I like these too. Will you be doing an article on the whole VHLM playoffs?
  7. Maybe it's just because I'm on Yukon so I'm biased, but I would agree. We split the first two and we lost those results. so we resim and Oslo wins both. Like to me it seems pretty odd that we lose the results where we won, and we end up getting smashed in a resim. And it's no disrespect to Oslo either, they're a good team but from Game 3 onward this series got jumbled. Not to mention the lines for Yukon were different heading into a game 5, but I like to think the lines would've been different had we known that the series was gonna end like this EDIT: I realize this sounds pretty whiny but I was salty when I wrote this post. I no longer care about a resim. I just hope everyone had a fun season and I love you all
  8. Responding again, but hey if you can't find enough people to apply I'm down to try my hand here
  9. Smarch handed the reigns over mid-season. And I'm not really sure why the top TPE boys weren't playing
  10. I kept looking at lineups everyday waiting for you to play
  11. Did Carison die or something? How come he wasn't in net?
  12. I feel the same way. We lost like 10 games all season, heavily favored in the finals, and we lose in 5. I don't understand how that's possible
  13. Wait, if it was 1-1 after game 2, and you resimmed games 3 & 4, which we split, it should be 2-2. Am I missing something here?
  14. I just don't understand how we dominate literally all season long, and then we're just ass in 4 games straight. Seems pretty odd to me. Welp, guess I'm not winning the Founder's cup in season 1
  15. It unfortunately should be 3-1 Oslo right now. I don't have the scores for the first two, but how are stats gonna be handled? My player is playing out of his mind right now and scored a few points in the first two
  16. 12 TPE per week H O L Y sounds like a fun job to have
