Wednesday evening saw the league complete its 67th VHL entry draft. The VHL had yet another deep draft introducing 60 prospects to their VHL professional franchises. Philly Reapers management @BladeMaiden and Jubo07 were elated to watch eight of their former and current Reapers selected. Davos, Moscow and Seattle drafted two Reapers a piece while Helsinki and Malmo took one. The draft ran just over two hours which was followed by the start of the signing period of these new camp invites. Reapers management is very excited to see their current and future alumni prepare for the next step of their careers. Philly looks to compete this season to defend their S66 Founder's Cup Championship. With the help of some of the names below they are confident this is a realistic possibility. Congrats to all the winners and nominees!

1) Three years, three finals. You think there's any truth to the saying "Third time's a charm?" Absolutely. The third time was indeed the charm. 2) We downed Davos 4-1, and now only the Wolves stand in our way. What's the key to beating this team? Depth and stronger goal-tending got the job done in the end. Our top performers were also just that. 3) The time for love and kindness is over- let the Wolves hear it with your best bit of trash talk. There really wasn't much worry in our locker-room heading into the final round. We dominated all season and really weren't afraid of who our opponent would be. That being said, there was a lot of healthy trash talk post game. 4) This is the first finals since the re-introduction of conferences in the VHL. How does it feel to be representing all of EU for the first time in quite a while? The fans here are seriously under-rated. These guys and gals come out night after night and cheer to their hearts content. It was an honour representing the EU and getting the job done in the end. 5) It's been a long season, and this roster has stayed consistent over just about every game. How confident are you in your teammates for this last Bo7? Honestly this roster could not have been beaten in a Bo7 no matter the opponent. Chemistries were running hot, d-pairings were on point, depth went above and beyond and Pepper was as solid as ever. 6) The mic is yours. Before the finals begin, before season 66 comes to a close, what do you have to say to anyone out there willing to listen? It was a dream come true to win the Continental Cup. This is what we work for our entire career aside from maybe making the HoF someday. S67 is looking to be another strong year for us and I am looking forward to getting back on the ice.

3/6 on the pp, extra teams getting the job done

Just looking at goal-tending alone Vancouver is at a pretty substantial deficit. I would say forwards are pretty much a wash here, perhaps line chemistry is stronger in Helsinki but who really knows. Vancouver has a slight advantage on defense.
