The Canadian roster for the annual season 64 world juniors has been selected and Joey Boucher was lucky enough to make the team. He has been a weekly active member in the VHL and believes this is why he was chosen. The tournement being capped at a certain Tpe level is also reason for this. Joey’s stats are not very impressive with Helsinki during his regular season play but he knows that is the hand you are dealt as a bottom grouping forward. Boucher enjoyed his time very much last season with Canada and trusts his general manager will do what he can to earn Canada yet another gold medal. We do appear to be one of the best teams again and Joey is hoping he can prove that to be true. There is a lot of excitement in the league for this world tournament to start and Joey is one of those excited participants. Go Canada Go!

The time is nigh (?), do you prefer gift shopping early, to get it out of the way, or are you more of a last-minute, procrastination kinda person? I have tended to wait until the last minute for my Christmas shopping. What are your thoughts on the Nylander contract; do you think a player should just sign (assuming it's a fair contract) and play, or do you side with the player holding out to earn as much as possible? If someone thinks they are good enough to be paid holding off is ok. Fun to see him coming back. Who in the VHL would you get a gift for? Who would you give coal to? I do not know many players at this time. I would buy a gift for each teams general manager which would be a chalkboard and pack of chalk. What is your favourite way to get to the rink: Car/SUV, Snowmobile, Public Transit, Walk something else? Never pass up a walk. Driving is best in the winter. What's a song you've had on repeat lately? Its beginning to look alot like christmas. If you were sitting in the General Manager's chair, what kind of chair would it be? A comfortable office chair with an ottoman. Have to be confortable when spending time on the phone and making deals.
