High Offensive sniper Trepanier coming out of his final year in junior, Were he had a break out scoring year concluding 75 Goal season, has signed on with the Ottawa Lynx on hope of competing for the Cup in the VHLM. Despite his great season, Armada did not contend for the memorial cup and Trepanier is not taking it lightly and is planning on over performing in his Pro debut. Trepanier was told he will start the year on the thrid line and will have every chance to prove his worth and make it up the lineup.
PROS
Trepanier Main gift is a wicked shot all of his coachs praised his technique and release claiming to be one of the best they have ever seen. He can shoot with the best of them. A normal day for him was ripping pucks in the driveway, and shooting cans pff the top of the net. His father noted that he had to change garage doors once a year. Comparable: Ilya Kovalchuk
Chace has always been the smaller guy on the team, But with his size he has always exceeded his teammates in speed. coaches said that you cannot hit him if you cant catch him, No doubt Trepanier can skate circles around most players. He would work harder in the summer to comeback stronger and faster than his bigger counterparts. Coaches have said he is comparable to: Martin St-Louis
Stick handling. Chace would dance around every incoming opponent to see them dazzled or down on the ice. Trepaniers Smooth hands can out play most of the players in the league. coaches had to find new challenges to test Chace skills during practice. They called him the king of the two on one, not many defense men could stop him. He had to become great at something to make up for lack of size. So in free time he would dangle around anything he could. COMPARABLE: Alexi Kovalev
CONS
Size and Strength would be Treapniers biggest flaw, Hes small and on the lighter side and is easy to move off the puck if you can catch him. He has tried on multiple occasions to bulk up but his genetics just wont allow it, So he had to work his game around his size. Avoids board play to not get injured.
Chace has been known to be a selfish player who his coaches tried to force him into passing more, but he has always been a shoot first pass later type of player. Its something he knows he needs to work on to succeed on the professional level. Trepanier was seen practicing with his new Team the Ottawa Lynx and was running passing drills.
Trepaniers last know issue is that he lacks the defensive side of the game. he sees the plays and anticipates them but fails to react and complete a successful turnover. He has worked on that side of the ice often with coachs and just frustrates himself out of it. But he knows if he wants to make the big leagues he is gonna have to improve at both ends of the ice.
