Did this season go exactly as we all had thought at the start of the season? Who cares about the VHL, let's talk VHLM. For me, Saskatoon and Philadelphia were the two front runners for me when the season was about to get underway or whatever. Then came along Ambrose Stark and it did happen to change my perspectives a little bit. I still thought it may be Saskatoon or Ottawa leading the charge and never really did think going to Ottawa would have helped them in the way that it did but then again, what the hell was I thinking? Well, I wanted to give everyone a fair chance but at the same time maybe not choose one of the greater teams and help out ones who are lower. Now, we're not talking low, low. Let's be honest here - I'm here for one season and one season only. It's going to have to be a year where there's atleast a chance at the end of the stick to clap her in and get some chips with the dip. Through the whole Game of Ambrose saga, we watched the league choose my new home and it so happened to be Ottawa - the team I thought was never 1C, or 3, that was on the edge of something great. Add me in and I still never thought we would have been this good. 49-13-9 was their ending record and while Philly did manage to come back, take the season and lead it all the way with 7 points, it had nothing to do with anything except luck. It was pure luck! Philadelphia didn't deserve to be there, their roster isn't as strong and their GM isn't as good (it's all a joke, but I can imagine there's still a few Reaper members who are now butthurt, ?). Joking aside, the team I always thought was going to end up in first actually ended up in first place. Maybe when I'm old, silver, saggy and retired on the VHL the VSN will let me do what TSN etc let's all the old boys do when they're done in the NHL. My predictions are good. Well, except for when it came to Stark. 59 points in 67 games? What is that garbage? 19 goals is good shit, but apparently I need to edge out some attributes here because that's shit. I was expecting , say through 67 games, 90 points. Heavily disappointed. Trump will know of this. Now, heading into the VHLM playoffs shortly, it's going to be a good ride. Does @Peace manage to take things the whole way? Doubtful. Do the Reapers follow up their first place finish with something similar in the playoffs and leave reaping the rewards (wtf, did he do that? Can he do that? no). Maybe Ottawa manages to do something cool and Stark doesn't play like a bitch? If I had to put my money where my mouth is, mate, I'd likely have to say Ottawa and Philly in the battle of helms deep. 6 or 7 games, swaying towards whichever one gets to 2 wins first. Also, this was shit to write. BANA dipping.

I mean - lots of people have been continuously passed over and the reasoning is that there are tons of members applying for these positions with a bunch of them being solid candidates. @Matt_O was passed on lots and I imagine at times even felt like saying “fuck this”. If you deserve it, eventually your chance will come. If ever someone has questions or what not about their chances or maybe what they could do to improve their chances - were here to offer and discuss. As said prior, Assistants are assistants. Exactly as explained above - whatever the actual gm wants you to do. You literally hold essentially zero actual power and are, if we’re being honest, more of a secretary, hehe. Some better than others. @uphillmoss I explained my/our concerns to you and with that gave you ways to improve yourself. I get it can be discouraging - I am well aware, but at the end of the day you just have to keep trying to apply and keep looking for ways to prove to us that you’re better than the rest. As stated above, you were in the mix for the actual job - we just felt there was a stronger route atm.
