  1. How many you got so far?
  2. This is when we open up betting (should be a thing anyway). VHLCasino. Payout of 1.78 if it's his last shot. Payout of 1.89 Ying's minutes diminish by 3 mins or greater. Payout of 3.6 Punks next player will be better than Ying.
  3. Love/Hate sort of thing.

But then you starting pushing for S57 1st. If you have a deal lined up for one goalie for a 2nd and the other for a 1st, you'd do the same. The moment you went from "yeah, we can do the 2nd" to bringing up the 1st, the talks were over.

It's a gamble, but one I'm willing to take. @evrydayimbyfuglien used to be a big part of the Bears not too long ago. I'll take a risk and try and bring back a really strong, enjoyable member. Welcome to the team, Gloopy. Accept.
  14. Who are the commissioners now?

  16. The Seattle Bears have just dealt a S57 2nd rounder and goalie Joanna Akerfeldt (for cap purposes) to the Stockholm Vikings for goalie Mist4ke. A surprising deal to some, a good portion of people likely thought that the Bears were going to hold onto the 2nd round pick due to the rebuild, but also because of how thick the draft currently looks. However, the trigger was still pulled. It was something I approached Bushito about a couple weeks ago. Our original plan was to wait until deadline day, but we're no longer wanting to wait until then (though, it's only a few days away). We want to win now and we don't want to wait until the draft to show those we want t attract that we're ready. We're ready to win now. We want to win and we will. Things are coming together nicely and hopefully over the next little while here we really start to develop for contention. Again, tough to give up a solid pick, but we are getting a pretty good goalie and a really good, strong member into the LR. It closes a gap we currently have with the other skill levels in the LR. Also, it helps mist4ke out as he's had unfortunate luck with numbers so far in his career. Very happy to get a deal done. 1 for forsberg huh

To Stockholm S57 Seattle 2nd Joanna Akerfeldt (cap purposes) To Seattle Mist4ke (70% contract) We're very happy to be adding @Strtlght to our roster and locker room. It's time for us to make some moves and let our future draftees and potential FA's know that we are serious about winning championships. We have a great set of people currently in the LR and adding street is going to be a big win for us. A huge reason this deal was looked at by us was to also help Mist4ke out in his career. Always been on the wrong side of winning and hopefully we can help improve his numbers. Accept. @Bushito I didn't wanna wait any longer. DOWN with the Wranglers!
  18. I'm sure we can expect better from @Laflamme moving forward. It should have been known to you, but now you have no excuse for it not to be. Part of your duty is to be there for your team and fulfill the limited amount of duties we hold as GM's. It's a privilege to GM in any league, but it's also a commitment needed from us to successfully play the role. You know if you're going to be busy, find someone to fill in on the roster or around the league (or a commissioner). If you can't do the job, you know to step down. I know you'll be better moving forward. I think we can all move on now (though, this - poor VHLM gm's - will need to be closely monitored in the future).

  20. Things are slowly happening in Seattle and it seems as though the bear may actually be coming out of hibernation. The team has landed some solid pieces over the last couple of seasons which range from Aleksei Federov, Gabriel McAllister, Forsberg, Laflamme and Perought. As of 4 minutes ago, the organization locked up one of those pieces for the next 2 seasons after this one. The deal sees Aleksei Federov acquiring a minimum of 6 million dollars over the next 2 years at a 3 million/season rate. The latest rumbled are the league state that this deal has everything to do with a trade that could potentially be coming. Usually, I wait. We don't know what our situation will look like in the following season. So if I can take more money, which actually benefits the team, we do it. In this situation, we're potentially bringing in a strong asset and are currently talking with a GM and player VIA one chat regarding the extension which will go on for 3 seasons. Time will tell on a deal being done, but we got the extension part handed out and ready to go. Rumor has it, 7M a season could be a thing.
  21. Try again, dude.
  22. I thought @Laflamme was too until @Kendrick said he was't. Here I thought it was summer time and he was just busy
