Blake Campbell looking fresh as fuck in new uniform and helmet The professional sports business is quite a tricky one. With long seasons, shorter offseasons and the all the travel, it can take its toll on those whom are involved. Along with those, trade speculation and Free Agency make it even more stressful and tense for players and management in the VHLM/VHLM. The feeling of never being sure on something, that anything can change at any given moment of the season can obviously affect ones emotions and mentality if they don't prepare themselves properly. It takes a lot of effort, focus and determination to avoid sinking into the dark abyss of the unknown which comes along with the being a pro athlete or manager. This past offseason, one player finally endured what it was like. Blake Campbell has spent his entire career in Europe, calling Stockholm his home since they drafted him 8th overall. Last season, there was trade speculation of him being dealt and then, of course, this previous offseason where he tested for free agency for the first time in his career. With numerous options in front of him, heavy media coverage and a majority of eyes on him, he was faced with a decision. He experienced what a lot of other veteran players, both current and long gone, had went through. The uncertainty of where you'll be next season, uplifting your roots from one place and planting them in another and the saying good bye to old friends and hello to new ones. Last season was rough for Campbell and the Vikings. Campbell posted his lowest wins amount and least impressive statistics since the beginning of his career. That's not saying his time in Stockholm wasn't successful, beneficial to him or enjoyable, it just wasn't the best year to say the least. He was also under the impression that things were changing, a cup wasn't in the near future and that management was pressuring him into making a move. When the time came to decide and free agency opened up officially, Campbell went to his vacation home to take sometime with his girlfriend and to think. Surrounded by the mountains, trees and so much beauty, he found himself in a place that was completely opposite. As this was his first time, he was really feeling the heat. "I decided to take sometime to sit back and think about my options. It was a really big choice in front of me and uplifting myself to this extent was truly a huge commitment. I knew that one party was going to be happy, one upset, some people pleased and others shocked or displeased. In the end, no poor intentions were meant and it was simply me doing what was best for myself. I'm a team player and if you're loyal - I'm loyal. I want nothing more than to win with my team. Unfortunately, careers are 8 seasons long in this league. I don't have time to wait for a cup and endure a rebuild. If I had the time, I likely would have. That simply was not the case" Boubabi during an interview releasing information to Stockholm fans that Blake Campbell had left for New York Then it happened and a choice was made. Blake Campbell had decided to leave the European conference and continent and had on over to North America. One long flight later, a lot of bitching aside and a new uniform resting over his shoulders, Blake Campbell was now a member of the New York Americans. Standing tall, confident and proud, he approached the podium with new GM to make the announcement. "The moment myself and my agent gave the green light to New York which allowed them to proceed with signing me, it was a very big moment for myself in my career. Along with it being big, it was very exciting. Initial talks with New York went extremely well and they were always the team that was my number one choice. I knew that If I resigned with Stockholm, I'd be going to New York anyway. So, I had a choice. Do I sign and cost my new team valuable assets as the price was very large, or do I sign for free which wouldn't decrease New York's assets, talents or strengths. It was very difficult for myself, but I did make the right choice and I'll always stand by it. Since joining the team a short few days ago, I've received much support from new teammates, some old ones and players and management through out the league. I'm anxious and overjoyed to begin a new chapter in my career with the Americans". More to come, yeah.

1. Offer was retracted. 2. We've doubled your win amounts. I'm fine here for now.

It's safe to sat Blake Campbell has been one of New York's top players on the season, but he's also been one of the hottest goalies this season. Along with a few others, he's been absolutely tearing up the league. Although his wins aren't atop the league, he leads every goalie in GAA and is currently sitting second place for Shut Outs and Save Percentage. Along with that, the Americans are currently sitting first place in their conference. Blake Campbell was approached for a brief statement about his joining forces with New York and how the rides been thus far. "I'm very fortunate to be able to be apart of another great team and management group.I enjoyed my time with Stockholm until the ending but have nothing but mostly great things to say. I am, however, happy with the decision I chose and if I could go back, I wouldn't change a thing. I've played fairly well here. I only wish I could weed out those games where I struggle. I mean, everyone has off nights - I would like to just eliminate as many of those games as possible. So moving forward and onto the playoffs, my plan is to continue to strengthen myself and weed out those poor games."

Couple things to take into account. S48 draft picks are quite aways away yet. He's looking for S47, I'm looking for S48. Also... S48 Yukon pick likely will be lower in the 1st round as they'll likely be a good team. Bratislava's pick for S47 will likely be a good one as we blow more than your little "rant and cry" posts on here seeking attention. So, essentially it breaks down as 1st (top 3) + 3rd for 1st (bottom 3) + 2nd. He agreed he'd rather have Bratislava 1st than Moscow 1st - as it's a better quality pick. Thus, having 3 already for S47, he needed to move one. 2nd Brampton isn't too far off of Moscow 1st.. There aren't many teams (8 - so really how big of a difference is there?).. so potential good 2nd and 3rd for a lower Moscow 1st. Yes, maybe most of the talent is in the 1st - BUT the league is looking at recruiting harder and there will be some good recreates coming up. Why is it that when I see you on here you're acting tough or are complaining? lol I get it's your little "roleplay" thing you do for yourself on here, but give it a break, lol. I suppose whatever gets you off at night though and makes you feel like a man. Love you, girl. lol roleplay hahahahaha i am who I am on here and off. I got a real laugh out of this. This wasn't even an attempt to be an ass funny enough. Was just an observation. You are just butt hurt that I hated being on your team but love being on a equally horrible Saskatoon. Thanks homo, I'd say I love you but I hate fags You admitted to roleplaying a while back as it was how you wanted your character to come off as? but yes, that's why I'm butt hurt. You didn't want to be on my team, lmao so hurt. PLZ DT hold me. I was simply stating you don't think before speaking, or else you would have seen the logic behind the deal. Good one though. You tough lil guy you. No problemo. Yes as in Covington being "the rightful king of England" which I am not. So there is a certain mindset and swagger that comes with that... I clearly think before I post. You don't think clearly and correctly before you do. Because if you did you wouldn't have posted about "roleplaying" since clearly I am not the king of England I would clearly have to add that kind of personality to my player. But I guess you cannot decipher between real and not God save the Queen.

After having complication with the other deal going through due to Yukon having too many 1st rounders in S47, myself and Blue have revised the initial deal and have come to a new agreement. Thanks once again for the easy, quick and enjoyable dealing, buddy. Yukon trades: S47 Moscow 1st S48 Yukon 1st S48 Yukon 2nd Bratislava trades: S47 Bratislava 1st S47 Bratislava 3rd S48 Brampton 2nd S48 Bratislava 3rd accepts

Best of luck, man.

We're revising this deal and will have it posted sometime tonight hopefully.
-
Could be numerous of reasons why tbh. Rig? Shit GM? Bad Luck? There's also a visine for all of those things too.

Sleeman and Lincoln Left to rot in Bratislava

I'm on top of shit this season. -
Happy to be your first official deal. Easy dealin and I get to help beef up your defensive line to make you a stronger contender. Thanks again, man.
-
Is this the trade block? So unprofessional. Firstly, everyone knows who is available. Secondly, you annoy me with your constant crying. There's a visine for that. Thirdly, It's an inactive LR on an unsuccessful team labelled as rebuilding. Yes, all my players are available because I want their junior experience to be a successful, memorable one. If you have any other questions, comments or concerns, please send them to Draper and/or Eagles. I'm sure they'd be all ears. God bless you.

Look out for Yukon next season. Figured we'd blow for another season and stock up for S48 seeing as Yukon and some others are powerhouses for the S47 draft. Easy dealin, buddy. Thanks! Reminder to GM's that we are actively dealing for picks. Top dman Sleeman is on the market as well as some other decent players that can help your run!
