Well, I walked away with the Aidan Shaw for VHL and Top GM for VHLM. Guess it was a good year and way to potentially end Campbell's career.

Blake Campbell was pushed off the Championship winning rosters organization and was left out in the warm, muggy night under the New York sky. Now, he sits in a box eating half eaten chicken bones and a rats tail that he bought up his buddy Crazy Eyed Ricky. An elite goalie last year for the club who helped mold the way to the cup, is no broke on his ass wearing cargo shorts with shit stains in them. When the VHL media eventually got ahold of him, this is what Campbell had to say regarding his current situation and retirement. "Its bullshit, but I get it. There's no market for a goalie I guess. I don't know. The Express sent out an offer and I appreciate the fact. Currently, I'm just unsure if I want to continue on my career. I have 2 seasons left and one is going to be on a rebuilding club. It blows because it fucks my chances at another cup so I'm considering the fact that this may be it. I either swallow the pill and have one bad season and hope for the next, or call it quits and throw in resumes and McCock Gobblers or Wendy's". So yeah. Unfortunately may retire. Hate to do this to my player. I guess opinions on my next player type would be nice but I'm leaning to goaltender again!

It wasn't too long after the New York American's victory over the Stockholm Vikings that American's GM approached star goaltender about the upcoming offseason. Blake Campbell was on fire for most of the season and showed great talent in some of the teams games during the post season. You wouldn't think that the team would let him walk away, however, shockingly the American's organization seem to not have much room for him on their roster etc. The GM approached me and stated they he apologized with the route the team had to take and that the decision took so long. The team is in a tough bind and I feel for them. They gave me great opportunity and it was nice to leave them with a championship to go. I enjoyed my days as an American and loved the guys I played with. Unfortunately, those days are up and it's time for me to find a new home for the final 2 seasons of my career. This is going to be a huge offseason for myself and I'm excited to see what interest level I get. I just want to win. So the team that can offer me the best chances at winning, I'll sign a deal with.

Firstly, Id like to say congrats to Ottawa - ther management and players, on a great season and one hell of a fucking series. Those first 3 games we won, I was nervous for each sim, but became cocky (in my thoughts) once we were up 3-0. Slowly but surely, you put the fear of simulation embarassment into me. I was sure we'd nab you before game 7, but here we are. Epic series, guys. Secondly, to myself. Winning the VHL championship and VHLM one at the sametime, both beijg my first of each, is one hell of a feeling. Glad I could bring success to both organization. and lastly, the best for last. My players and fellow LR members. What a season, huh? From being about 25+ points out of first, to making big trades, to clinching 1st to a VHLM championship. Was quite the rollercoaster. You guys truly pushed me to make us become a contender (by being disgruntled and disappointed during our poor part of the season). This victory couldnt have felt so great without each of you - so this cups for you boys! thanks!
