  2. what if you are not in those leagues?
  3. It appears Jesse Wilson will be on pace for a worse year this season than his rookie season was. Wilson is on pace to tie his points total from last year at 43, but every other stat seems to take a dip. His hitting has improved and it allows that total to be on pace to better last years. However, his shot blocking, assists and plus minus are all on pace to be below last years totals. His points are largely a result of being buried on the depth chart. Wilson is hoping management sees that he is putting in the work and even eclipsed his teammates in the weekly work ethic department. If they don't notice he is hoping league scouts do and he may end up on another team in the future to allow him to shine in a more used role. Wilson was an offensive juggernaut in the VHLM and he knows he can be on in the professional ranks but being third on the depth chart limits his upside. Fantasy owners are also a little surprised he hasn't been moved up the depth chart as well.

  5. 1. I did not, but I did stay in and have a Guinness with some friends to celebrate the green day. 2. I feel like they are pretty immature. Yes it's okay to go out and have fun but some people need to wake up that their jobs might be more important than a little buzz. 3. My season has been trash. Really hoping I can be moved around the lineup as I'm struggling on the second line. 4. I expect myself to shit the bed more, but I'm hoping our team can do something. 5. Probably San Diego. I hear they like hockey down there but I've never been. Plus there are some good beaches in the area for road trips. 6. Least favourite is the Americans logo. It is a strange badge that looks more "Captain America" than it does hockey team.
  6. Although Jesse Wilson has cleaned up his defensive game a little bit, he is still struggling to find his own in his second season in the professional leagues. Wilson leads his team in penalty minutes and he is trying to figure out why he keeps getting called for penalties. His positioning is solid and his foot speed is very good for a big defensemen. Sadly one of the areas of his game that has struggled is his shooting. this season Wilson is just under 3% on his shots that hit the net. With teams thinking he is a one trick pony, they now allow him to shoot and it's not really a good thing for him at this point. If Wilson can find the scoresheet he might get some confidence but sadly being on the second line has somewhat made him a expendable by the Titans brass it would appear. His worth ethic shows that he comes to the rink everyday to improve but sadly the management sees him as just a depth piece. Wilson caught some people off guard this week when he said that Dan Montgomery should be swapped with Jesse because of the level they are at in their careers.

  8. Wilson do something
  9. Was it public? Surely if it's not public you could just be yanking everyones chain with your comment. I'd like to think when I become a veteran here if I see a loophole I'll bring it up to the public to discuss, instead of trying to exploit it and in turn looking like an idiot in the end.
  10. I always thought pointing out loopholes as a veteran forum member was better by just pointing it out to those in charge instead of throwing a bit of a tantrum.
  11. Jesse Wilson appears to be in the coaches doghouse lately. His poor play has him back on the depth chart and not really looking like he will compete in Helsinki for better minutes. He goes tot he rink every week and performs and tries to progress his career and reach his potential, but nothing budges. Currently he sits behind Dan Montgomery in the depth chart despite working out more in the weight room and taking more time during pre-game morning skates to work with coaches. The effort he is showing is that of a first line blue liner but his coaches thus far have said that he will stay where he is. Wilson loves being on Helsinki but would like to be able to see the first line minutes and help out the top dogs on the Titans. If Wilson can show some more consistency he should get noticed by the coaches and maybe the General manager as well in the coming weeks. Wilson has not registered more than one point in a game this season to our knowledge and his defensive play leaves a lot to be desired from the young Canadian blue liner.

  14. 1. Yeah I think it's smart to make sure the games at the end of the season are your full power lineup. 2. I'm not sure, I am not in their locker room but I know in ours it helps to get some fresh blood in. 3. I want to be better defensively because right now I suck 4. Its different as there is less veteran leaders but us younger guys are growing up a tad 5. I think it's good to not be the NBA style of league and have parity across all teams and conferences. It makes it fun to watch down the stretch. 6. Disarono with Coke takes like Dr. Pepper and it's delicious.
  15. It appears the season is going so wrong for a prospect that looked so right starting out. Jesse Wilson is a league worst -10 rating this season (among players who qualify). Wilson's defensive lapses have cost his team some big goals and thus he is costing his team wins. If Wilson cleans up his act he may actually help his team, but at this stage he is a liability back on the blue line. Coaching him has been a struggle as well because his lack of knowledge in his own end is not preferred for a professional hockey player. If Wilson ants to improve he will have to start in his own end in order to become a legit professional player. A send down to the minors might be in order if he can't get his act together. We will continue to watch his play and see if he sticks out like a sore thumb on the Helsinki Titans roster. Wilson's offensive play can't even save him this season as he hasn't really been a help on the backend for the power play either. It's hard to see where the coaching staff can place Wilson in the lines to help him out.
