  2. Thats weird, I submitted last season and I'm not on that list
  3. Jesse Wilson is really hoping for big things next season. Going into his third season with the Helsinki Titans (and third in the league); he is hoping to get some hardware. The ultimate prize has escaped him and his teammates two years in a row now despite being in position to lift the cup. Wilson is hoping for some hardware regardless of the importance and clinching a cup would be a huge in his career. Also Wilson has his sights set on some personal hardware and he wants to be recognized by the league as someone who made a huge jump and became a very bright spot for the youth movement in the league. He has a lot to go to improve to his full potential, but he is looking bright so far in the off-season workouts. Wilson has impressed scouts from around the league as well. He isn't disgruntled but he does feel he was down the depth chart when other players were not trying as hard as he was.
  4. 1. I'd love to see some more dynamic playmakers and scorers added. Can never have enough 2. My puck handling is very low so I'd like to work on that in camp 3. All of them? I'm pretty much excited to always have new teammates 4. Pepper because he is the ultimate champ and he is our rock 5. I did a bit because I was upset, but I let that hurt fuel me for the upcoming seasons based on poor finishes. 6. Neutral to this as I don't think it helps or delays what we are trying to do. We want to win regardless
  5. Jesse Wilson has been a very steadily climbing defensemen in terms of progression. He and his Titans have made the finals two years in a row while he has been on the squad and his outlook has kept his spirits high even after those tough losses. Wilson is going all in this off-season to see if he can provide his team a bit of a boost. Wilson is nice two-way defensemen but his offensive game does leave a lot to be desired thus far. Recently Wilson attended a Gary Roberts off-season camp to help his mobility and strength as he found himself out powered by veteran players in the league. The biggest step for Wilson going forward would be being out muscled in the corners and not having the lateral movement to keep the puck int the opposing end during power plays. If Wilson can stick to his regiment and perform at a high level, he will be a can't miss prospect for possible Defensemen of the Year awards. As it stands now he has a lot of work to do but he is willing to put in the effort as he has over 600 hours in the practice facility this year alone.

  9. Two seasons into his career and Jesse Wilson is getting used to something. What that is is something very rarer but also some very special to him. In two seasons in his VHL career, Jesse Wilson has played in two VHL Continental Cup Championship finals. A big feat for a player who was drafted in the second round with no real potential from other General Managers. Wilson is really soaking up all he can and it is allowing him to gain some valuable experience. Jesse is hoping this year is a little different from the sweep last year. So far the Titans are off to a good start winning the first game of the series 2-1 in overtime. Wilson has scored two goals thus far in the playoffs and also has added 4 helpers and played some great defence as well. Helsinki still has their hands thick in the mud as they look to gain the upper hand and go back to the home rink with a 2-0 lead. Let's just hope this year they don't lose four straight games in the finals like they did last season.
  10. HEL G had to piss into a cup after this game for sure, not even speculation.

  13. Jesse Wilson looks forward to Playoffs every year. It's a bit of a luxury if you make the postseason, but Wilson doesn't take it for granted. During his junior career he was a playoff legend and performed at a higher pace than anyone could've imagined. Wilson is looking to build off that and propel his career by turning it up a notch in the VHL playoffs for Helsinki. so far in his young career, the regular season has not been his friend. Luckily Wilson may get a chance to shine if he is selected in the upcoming Expansion draft and that is something he is looking forward to. That being said, he is hoping to help his teammates achieve greatness by going far in the VHL postseason. Wilson is hoping to lead from the back end and provide with solid breakouts from their own end. Jesse sees chemistry with Sidney Crosby and doesn't want to be buried down the depth chart again. He feels he has put in the work to be a first pairing defence man and that it should bode well come the off-season no matter what happens with the young Canadian born blue liner.

  15. Jesse Wilson is looking forward to the Expansion Draft this off-season. Wilson is looking for a fresh start as he feels he is buried in the depth of the Helsinki Titans. Despite out producing Dan Montgomery in practice, Wilson has been stuck on the second pairing this season and his career has gotten off to a slow start. He is looking for a new chance to help a team and produce at a higher pace. When Wilson was taken in the second round a few years ago he was ecstatic about joining a young up and coming team with tons of promise. However, mood has changed as he feels Helsinki management has put that second round table on him and almost made it seem like he is expendable. Wilson is excited to see if he can be selected in the Expansion draft this off-season and is hoping to get a fresh start where he may feel more appreciated. Wilson defied a lot of odds by climbing up draft boards and cementing himself as a must watch prospect before being drafted, but when slipping to the second round he held it against other teams as a chip on his shoulder for not being a higher pick.
