1. We're over half way into the season now. How do you feel you've developed so far as a player this season? What are some areas your player has improved? What would you like to work on a little more? I've Been slacking more than I wanted too this season but my player has still grown well and has been performing better than I expected. Id like to improve my point totals and faceoffs.  2. What are some things you like about the VHL? What are some things you dislike? I like that it feels more important than the VHLM did, however the amount of TPE needed to level things up at this point and the decreasing amounts you get once you go into the VHL makes it pretty hard to feel like you're progressing IMO. 3. If you were in charge of the league for the day, what 1 thing would you change? I think i would make practice always 2 TPE even for VHLERS 4. What is your favorite VHLM team and why? .... lol 5. The VHL has seen a recent influx of minor tournaments with the world juniors and Brand teams. If you could implement a Minor Tournament, what would you base the teams on? Assign a VHLM team to a VHL team and have a U24 tourney or something idk.

1. The best-of-3 finals of the Sponsor's Shield Tournament will see the VIKING and True North Gear brands face each. Who do you think takes the first ever Cup home? I don't even know who ended up winning this thing tbh. 2. Are you satisfied with your position in the draft(s) that happened earlier this week? Yeah I was, I dropped a bit but it doesn't really matter cause I like my new teammates. 3. Who do you think are the frontrunners for the VHLM Founder's Cup this season? I don't know who will win, but hopefully, Nathan N and Jagger tear it up. 4. Do you like the atmosphere in your new VHLM team's locker room? Yes it's great, were a pretty young team and it's gunna be fun improving together. 5. What have you been focusing on during your most recent training sessions? Can't apply my training as I'm not actually called up yet but, I will be improving my passing, skating, and scoring. 6. Fun question for new members, horrible question for veterans: Are you superstitious? Do you have a pre-game routine? Nope.

1. We had a influx of new members recently thanks to a big Reddit recruitment drive. (If you are a new member) How do you like the site so far? (If you are not new to the site) Are you scared about the new competition stealing your thunder? No. 2. Do you have any idea for the Recruitment Team regarding new avenues to recruit new members? Go to hockey-related places. 3. Were you surprised that the Saskatoon Wild disposed of the Ottawa Lynx so easily in the VHLM Founder's Cup Finals? Yeah kinda, the VHLM had strange playoffs though. 4. Do you think the Calgary Wranglers have what it takes to complete the comeback over the Riga Reign in the VHL Continental Cup Finals? This already happened so i won't comment. However, I'm excited to get started in the VHL this season. 5. Any VHL team you'd prefer to be selected by in the next VHL Entry Draft? I was hoping me and Nathan N, and Jagger could have been drafted to the same place but I wasn't really picky about what team drafted me. Ended up going to the Americans. 6. What are your objectives for next season? Just have a solid rookie season in general.

Ryan Zabby Center Points Assists

VHLM rookie Ryan Zabby plays for the Yukon Rush and has enjoyed a pretty solid season so far (71 GP 31 G 54 A 85 P 263 shots). Zabby currently sits 10th in points and 9th in assists by all VHLM players. It hasn’t all been positive though, Zabby started the season very slowly by being below a point per game but seemed to pick it up around the 20-game mark. After that, he enjoyed some great success with a few multi-point games in a row to boost his numbers into the top 10 charts. However, he’s slowed down at the end of the season and Yukon isn’t fully going unless Zabby is. Yukon is excited to see if his playstyle can translate into the playoffs and possibly help them bring home a championship. Zabby participated in the World Juniors this season for team Canada. Unfortunately, due to the incredible amount of skill on team Canada, Zabby was left getting little ice time and didn’t produce much. However, the team won Gold and Zabby seemed excited telling reporters “I dreamt of winning the world jr’s since I was 8 years old”. Zabby’s development slowed a bit in the middle of the season, due to lack of commitment and attitude some scouts were expecting him to be the #1 or #2 overall pick this season but he seems to be sitting around 3 or 4 in most mock drafts. One mock draft had him ranked as the 4th player to be take stating Even with some slower development, Zabby has stayed true to what he said back when he signed his intro deal with Yukon. “I’m going to be able to score, pass, and skate,” Zabby said and that’s where he’s improved most this season. With 75 Skating/Scoring and 71 Passing/Defense, he’s shown that with a lack of weight he’s still able to produce with those attributes. One major flaw scouts have is his lack of progression at the faceoff circle, some scouts think he hasn’t improved at all in the area and think he might be more suited to playing Wing. Zabby, however, doesn’t like that idea” I’m not playing wing, I’d much rather be a better skater, passer, shooter, or defender before I worry about faceoffs. They barely even matter when you can geno as I can”. Zabby backtracked the next sentence saying “ I do work on them they just aren’t my main focus currently. I’d like to be where I want to be in other areas and let the faceoffs be the bow that wraps it all together.: A teammate leaked to Hockeybuzz that “ Zabby doesn’t wanna play for a shit VHL team” and has been heard saying “ Whichever team drafts me is getting the best player” and finishing up with “ I hope I don’t go 1st overall I want to win”. Zabby has gotten some criticism for saying this but refuses to comment on the matter. No matter where Zabby gets drafted he looks like a player that a team can build around and should be able to make an impact very early on.

1) I posted up the first Mock Draft for the Season 64 Draft, of the players who were not predicted to be selected in the first two rounds, which player do you think has the most chance of moving up into being selected in the top two rounds when the next Mock Draft is done? Kyson Blake 2) The TPE milestone required to automatically be promoted to the VHL for the following season is 200 TPE. i) (If you're below 200 TPE) How long do you think it will take you to reach that milestone? ii) (If you're already above 200 TPE) How much TPE do you think you will have by the end of this season? I'm pretty close, a few more weeks and I'll be there. 3) The World Juniors rosters were announced last week, which team do you think will be the favourite to win the tournament? Canada ez. 4) We're getting close to the week of the Mid-Season PT week, where if you submit a PT that fits the theme, you will earn substantially more TPE. Last season's theme was covering other members players, what theme would you like to see for this seasons PT? Not sure, hopefully, something fun. 5) From your time in the league, if you could give any advice to a new member entering the league, what would it be? Get all the one time point tasks done right away. 6) We have a one off VHL All-Star game every season that uses the NHL series as a sim engine and is live-streamed. Would you be interested in seeing a similar game done for the VHLM and what do you think your chances would be of making a VHLM All-Star roster? That sounds pretty cool I'd like to see that, I think I would make it.
