  1. HC Davos had a great season going until the last week or so where they have really hit a rough patch. The last few games have all been losses for the Dynamo, something they are used to after last season, but this season, it has really came crashing down at once. They lost to Riga 4-2, New York 3-1, Riga 5-1, and Helsinki 5-2. They also suffered losses to Seattle and Helsinki in the other games. The last win came in Game 66 against the Moscow Menace. What has happened? We caught up with goaltender Finn Davison, this is what he had to say. The young goaltender puts it all on himself, but is it his fault? Davos will look to get back on track as they will get back into action. What will change? Let's see.

  3. From the worst team last season to a team that looks poised to make a decent run, HC Davos has really came out strong during the beginning of the season. Despite moving Robert Malenko, the addition of Cayden Saint has really brought life into HC Davos. Through 13 games, the Dynamo are 7-6, only 3 points back of 3rd place Toronto. That is awesome considering what happened last season. Leading the way is newly acquired Rylan Peace who has really had a fantastic season with 12 goals and 14 assists. Elias Dahlberg has kept it up with his 23 points. Pat Svoboda has 18 points of his own. In net, it is Finn Davison who is 7-6 with a Save Percentage that puts him in 3rd in the league. He has very high GAA, but also recorded his first ever shutout in the VHL. Can they keep it up? Davos hopes so, but this team is absolutely building something. They have a really good young core that they can build around for a long time. With Smitty, Warren, Svoboda, Dahlberg, Peace, then the Captain Jokinen and Madden, these guys are going to be something to mess with.
  4. Why not ask some questions for you buddy! How do you feel your season has gone so far? Seattle is the top in the league right now, do you think you guys can keep it up with Riga right on your heels? Who do you feel is the best player in your draft class? Who do you feel is the best rookie? Who is the most underappreciated player on Seattle?
  5. I will post some questions for you guys to answer for fun! Davos went from dead last to being 3rd in the league through 13 games, what is the biggest difference between last year's team and this years? Rylan Peace is currently 3rd in the league in points, do you think he can keep up that pace? He is more than halfway to his career high in points with 46. How much do you think trading Robert Malenko will hurt the team? Finn Davison is 3rd in the league in Save %, but 10th in the league in GAA, where do you see him as a goalie in terms of best goalies in the league? What is your expectation for the rest of the season?
  6. I need you in fantasy, so keep going.

  13. 1. How do you think Davos' will do this season after the acquisition of Peace and the key drafting of Smitty Weber-whateverhisnameis? That is a great question, I have high hopes for Davos this season. We added Peace which is a fantastic add, I think that instantly upgrades our offense. Now, our defense is even better getting Malenko, so I am excited about that. In goal, I am a little bit behind some of of the other goalies in the league, but I believe I have a good build. I think I can definitely be successful. I need our defense to step up and show everyone what we can do. 2. What was your reaction when you heard Jones was traded to Calgary for a first round pick? Dallas and I were close, you know, I thought he was going to be a good fit for our team. I really do not want to comment on anything more than that. I thought he would fit well with our team, but this is a business. 3. What are your opinions on the Dynamo's top two offensive lines? I really like the top 6 on our team, I mean, we really have more than that. Peace is going to be a great upgrade. I mean, that guy can score. Then we have Svobody who is another scorer, he can play a bit of defense too. Then, we look at John Madden who can score, are you sensing a trend? Then Elias Dahlberg who can score. Man, can anyone pass? I think we need faceoffs, that is what we need more of as well as passing, but I love what we have, we can really get somewhere. 4. What are your opinions on the trade Shawn made to acquire Malenko? I liked it. I thought Jerwa was a great prospect, I have a relationship with him as well. I loved playing next to him, but as I mentioned above, this is a business. We need a guy to step in now and help out. Malenko is going to be our top defenseman, so we needed to make a move like that. He gets in the gym and keeps updating, I love it. 5. On a scale of trash to trash, how trash is Dahlberg? I'd say trash panda. 6. After game beer...light or dark? Water or Gatorade, no beer.

  15. Season one for the United Kingdom goaltender was definitely less than ideal. He struggled a little bit as he split time with Rhett Stoffiday. Now, he is the lone goaltender in HC Davos. He will get all of the reps, he will be able to show the fans what he is made of. He is someone easy to root for, but Davos can be a team that is a little harder to root for. They started at the bottom of the league last season, so they look to make their way up this season. With newcomers Katie Warren, Ryan Peace, and Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen, it surely will be fun to see where this team goes. The oldest player is Alvaro Jokinen as the remaining of the team are either in Season 63 or 64. It will be a fun season for Davos. Let's see how they do! It was a fun off-season of a lot of ups and downs. Someone he was close with, Dallas Jones, decided to turn his back on Davos, the team that drafted him. He was a little disappointed in that decision, but that is life. This is a business. He has to do what is best for him, as Finn has to do what is best for him. He does not plan on leaving Davos until they tell him that they do not want him.

  17. UK Goaltender Finn Davison has not yet been contacted by any brands until recently. With the brand openings starting a few days ago, it is surprising that one of the starters in the league, Finn Davison had yet to hear from any brands. Now, who will he sign for? That is going to be a huge question that will be going around. With that said, this is what he is going to be looking for. He wants a chance to start. Now, he knows he is only a rookie this past season, but he would love the chance to start. Now, if there are no spots, he will have to earn it, which he has done throughout his time. He will have to earn it again, which is fine. He will looking at the team that gives him the best chance to start. Is money important? No, money is not necessarily important. He will not make much money from this, and that is completely fine. He is looking at the chance to play so he knows what to build upon and be better for future seasons. Does that mean you will play for free? No, I do not want to play for free, I want to get some money, whether it is a little or a lot. I will be someone to build on. I will be a top goalie in a few seasons. Invest in me now, it'll be worth it in the future.
