  2. Ottawa is always sniffing around and looking to be active come deadline time. Don't count anything out yet
  3. While Moscow has had a lot of success through the past couple seasons with their current core, there have been instances of locker room tension boiling over which has directly led to losses, especially in key moments. Moscow has been upset multiple times in the playoffs, and the morale between the players led to those shortcomings. Some players were moved out, hoping to solve the problem, but alas, the losses continue to arrive at the worst possible times. Moscow GM Euron Leonidas @Spartan has concocted an unorthodox solution: The Goon Corner. Euron had taken notice regarding Bocage’s disciplinary action from the league during his issues with gooning on and off the ice. At the time, he thought nothing of it, but as Leonidas put the dots together, he noticed that that season was Bocage’s best in terms of production, and was desperate enough to try anything. The Goon Corner, in essence, is a single corner designated in the locker room walled off, allowing players to be goons in peace, relieving pent up frustration and anger and releasing their emotions in the most primal ways possible. The results out of the gate were outstanding. Bocage used The Goon Corner every single period, and led the league in points for a good while at the beginning of the season, while PIMs are at an all-time low. Many other players were reluctant to use The Goon Corner at first, stating that it was far too uncomfortable to properly relax and expunge the goon inside of them, but as they observed Obuz’s common goon practice, they began to use it, sparingly at first, and slowly but surely warmed up to it. Moscow now presents themselves as the top team in the league, beating off competitors left and right. Multiple players on the Menace roster have established themselves as top players in the league, and all use The Goon Corner. What has been observed is a much cleaner, stick-handling focused playstyle from the Moscow roster. While many teams default to their fists to beat off their opponents, the Menace opt to use their hands and sticks instead, showing off elite stick movement and control, launching loads of shots towards their opponents as fast as they come, completely smothering and dominating defenses and filling up the net with bucket loads of pucks. Other teams have discussed implementing The Goon Corner to their own locker rooms as well, unable to deny the success it has had for Moscow, but none have done so yet. In reality, they’re all waiting with bated breaths, mouths and eyes wide open ready to receive any and all information they can regarding Moscow’s success come playoff time. If Moscow can offload the weight on their shoulders in the postseason and recreate that magic they once showed not too long ago, the validity of The Goon Corner cannot be denied. Of course, if Moscow faulters yet again when the lights begin to shine brighter, then The Goon Corner was nothing more than a farce to allow Bocage to goon in peace without league intervention. Only time will tell, however. (515 goon words of gooning)
  4. At least make it believable. We all know Gus doesn't talk to women
  5. Last time I tried to bring gooning to the VHL I got a warning from the mods

  7. Another S98 presser! @do3bo1@Max77@Emperor_Fun@McLean Hoover@Kyle Evans@Bubba@Ente2997@dustywilson22 1. With the trade deadline in a week, how do you feel about the team performance so far? 2. Speaking of the trade deadline, what are some moves that the team should make? 3. We've been very up and down for the past few games now. What is something we can do to get more consistent? 4. With how the season is shaping up, we will likely match up against either Houston or Philadelphia in the postseason. Which team would you prefer us go up against? 5. What's your player's go-to meal? 6. The return of the $5 footlong or Renegade Raider?
  8. win anything in your career for once

    2nd for a 3rd. Crazy

No, the player wouldn't have retired if they stayed with Seattle, which is the problem

The player has already come out and said that they're retiring at the end of this season and not going to play for Malmo. The decision has been made, and this is what is going to happen. You either play ball, or restart. I'm fine with that

No, its an awful precedent to establish. Players should not be able to hostage their way onto whatever team they want.

I'd implement a punishment but this trade seems to be doing it for me
  16. It'd be neat to see people doing "pack renders" where you have like 4 basic template player cards and then 1 unique card
  17. If I got the recognition I deserved last season I wouldn't feel the need to switch positions and take on this new challenge instead. I am simply a product of this league's mismanagement
  18. @do3bo1@Max77@Emperor_Fun@McLean Hoover@Kyle Evans@Bubba@Ente2997@dustywilson22 Ottawa S98 Presser #2 1. We're 14 games into the season at this point; how do you feel your player's performance has been so far? 2. What about team performance? Ottawa has been bouncing around the lower half of the league this season. Is that around where you expected Ottawa to be? 3. With the recent trade with Houston, Ottawa's indicated that this will be a rebuilding season. Do you feel like that's the right move, or do you have any thoughts about that? 4. What are some of your player's pre-game rituals or ways to really focus up for a big match-up? 5. If the VHL were to have an expansion, where would you want to see a new team? 6. Cure for cancer, or Renegade Raider?
  19. maybe you're the most confusing pick
  20. Claiming week 2 : )
  21. Man these fans seem really smart and well informed! You should listen to them more often
  22. I guess my favorite would be Moscow simply because it's the team that has the first player I actually put any effort in. Least favorites are easier simply because spreading negativity is fun
