Training with Flashback: Brick Whal edition pt1 This is the beginning of a series that I am going to be making for the foreseeable future. It is about VHL goalies trying to teach Fang Flashback to be less of an a**hole, and a better goalie. Blademaiden sits in her office, looking over scouting reports and analyzing trade offers, when all of a sudden a massive 6’7 man steps in to greet her. “Oh Hey Brick! Thanks for coming so quickly!” she tells him excitedly. “No problem Blade. Now why was it you wanted me here? Something about a new goalie you wanted me to teach? Don’t tell me your coach has forgotten how.” Whal responds. “Well, sort of. This goalie, he… he is a special case. I called you because you might be able to help.” Whal’s eyebrows raise as his curiosity grows. Wondering what could be so unusual about a goalie to necessitate all this. He says “Well, I am sure it is nothing. He is a goalie, we are supposed to be weird.” She lowers her tone, “Brick, it’s not like that. This one is … well, it's probably best for you to see for yourself.” She leads him down to the ice rink. They exchange small talk, with Whal completely oblivious to what he just got himself into. Then, all of a sudden, they see a goalie on the ice, stopping pucks with his face. Brick whal gasps in horror “Please tell me that isn’t…” “It is” Part 2 will be posted next week

This is why we need to expand into other Forrest, such as maybe one in hawaii

This makes perfect sense. As I have been saying, the amount of TPA people have is way too much. If you make it harder to reach the elite attributes, you will see much more diversity. It will also make line combinations more important

This is a big problem. Because of the success of the recruitment team, space is at a premium. Especially as a goalie, I will probably have to spend several seasons as a backup. This is a problem, because a lot of first gens can barely even find a spot on teams. This is something we need to fix by either expansion or switching to a three line system

What I mean is, the dev has straight up said that anything above 95 isn’t supposed to be in the game, and breaks the sim. And that anything in the 90s should be very rare

Again, the big problem is that everyone has too much tpe. We have broken the sim, and so it is basically a dice roll now. And while hockey does need some randomness, gms still need to be able to make a difference

I see the argument for both sides, I just personally think it is a little too random right now.

Preach. You have to be a complete tpe whore to survive at goalie. And I don’t think goalies stats break the sim as much. Although I could be completely wrong on that

The problem with this is that, only the tpe whores will be able to get to those high stats. This might create an even larger gap between the whores and the normal players

I think that is a very noble cause, but there will always be people more active than others. One idea might be to reduce how much carryover you get.

That makes sense, but you are going to have a tough time getting most members to accept less offseason tpe
