1. I am happy for him, he deserves it that is for sure. 2. I think Cody Smith @cody73 would be a good choice, I can see him being a good GM in the future. 3. I think the "friendly" rivalry with Minnesota is going to get heated very quickly. 4. I like the move Khalabib was not getting much ice time and wasn't improving much, Sundell is a trade up and that is never bad. 5. No I think we are clicking well as a team and you don't want to upset that for a star player when we already have Hogan, Smith, MacElroy and Funk. 6. Prime Ministers Trophy: Philadelphia Reapers.

Mississauga Quiet as Trade Deadline Approaches By Steven Brockman With the trade deadline less than 100 hours away we have a look at the moves of Mississauga. They have made one trade with Minnesota trading a 3rd round pick and Defence man Khalabib Stiopic. Khaliabib had only been playing about 20 minutes per game whilst fellow defence man were receiving at least 25 minutes. In return the Hounds have received Andreas Sundell, who is considered to be a more rounded defensive defence man. This seems like a good pickup on paper for Mississauga who is trying to climb up the ladder from 7th place. We will find out later today when both skaters have the first game with their new teams. The question remains is Jerry Garcia finished with just the one trade before the deadline or could the team change once again. Garcia has options of trying to bolster the roster with trades or to sell off players and look to the future. All we know is we will find out very shortly. If you wish to stay up to date I will be covering any further moves for the Hounds when news arrives.

Congratulations Brian Strong for being a one man team

I would like to vouch for either of these two. Both have been extremely helpful to all members of the hounds in our locker room. Both take a big interest in to lines and the back end of the simulation and help out GustavMattias in any way possible. Both would be a great GM, I would be very scared to go up against them, either would make a terrific choice.

Sick Leave Denied By Steven Brockman Reports have come out that Mississauga Hounds, Left Wing Berocka Sundqvist has tried to pre-book in sick leave for multiple days in the coming month. Further investigation into the dates aligns this with all the games that Australia are playing in the upcoming cricket world cup. We have reached out to both Berocka and Mississauga's GM Jerry Garcia and both refused to comment. This is not a good look for the young Australian as recent reports show that Jerry Garcia has threatened to "Yeet" any players for a 4th or 5th round pick if needed. Could this lead to Berocka being traded to another team? He has proven his worth as a free agent signing with 24 points from 36 games. Hopefully this was just a rumour and Berocka wasn't this stupid, Australian's are well known for taking their sickies but most aren't stupid enough to pre-book them. We will find out in Mississauga's next game to see if Berocka gets ice time.

With the Cricket World Cup starting today/tomorrow, depending on where you are. Who do you think will be in the top four, do you think there will be any upsets? I have India, NZ, England and Australia going to Semis. I also think Afghanistan will upset some big names.

Sportsman Abroad – Berocka Sundqvist By Steven Brockman Today on Sportsman Abroad we have young gun in the VHLM Berocka Sundqvist. This is his starting year in the VHLM and one of only a handful of Australians competing in the prestigious Ice Hockey league. SB: Hi Berocka good to see you, you have been making some waves of recent in the VHLM. Tell us did you expect this much success? BS: Thank you for having me Steven big fan of your work. No, to be honest I can’t say I would have this much success. I was just happy playing on such a big stage and trying to learn as much as I could from the people around me. SB: Lets talk about your game against Las Vegas, I think you know the one I am talking about. You scored a Hat trick in the 1st period alone that must have been a good feeling BS: Yeah it was great, I owe thanks to Dan Gles, he set up every one of my goals and I think we are really starting to work well together. Also, Danny DeYeeto and Jacob Rogers helped, I know I got the goals, but I think they did all the hard work. SB: Currently Mississauga is sitting in 8th place in the VHLM near to the halfway point, what’s the thoughts in the locker room around this? BS: We aren’t worried, we had a small little losing streak, but we are coming back now. We recently beat Ottawa and it shows that we have the team that can beat anyone in this league. I know personally my skills are improving the more I play in the league and I know the team is just getting better and better. I think by the time we get to playoffs we will be a team not to be taken lightly. SB: Interesting, so you think that Mississauga still has a chance to go deep into the playoffs? BS: It is a long season, and anything can happen, but I think that come the end of the season we won’t be sitting in 8th place anymore. SB: So recently the teams for the S66 WJC were announced and you were no where to be seen on Team World, how does that make you feel? BS: It doesn’t bother me, I am only new to the league and I know that there are a lot of good players out there, I have only played 36 games so far, so it is acceptable that the GM’s don’t know my true potential. Nevertheless, I will be supporting Team World and fellow teammate Dan Gles who got selected. Just know next season expect me to be named in the squad. SB: Recently a news article was released about sleepers in the S67 Class and you were named, how does this make you feel and why do you think you were selected. BS: It’s a good feeling for someone outside of the club to recognise that you have potential in the league. The article said something along the lines of my background of AFL made me stand out and I think it is something that no one else has. It is an extremely different game and there aren’t many others like it. I think it gives me a bit of an edge by helping my strength and agility. SB: Yes, I think that no one outside of Australians really understand the level of athleticism needed to succeed at the sport. So, it’s about time to wrap up I just have one final question, what do you think of your locker room, how have your teammates and support staff been. BS: I could not be happier, they are a great bunch of Guys and Jerry Garcia has been a great GM. Everyone wants the same thing and that is for the team to be as successful as possible. The hounds are coming back up the ranks

You can't complain about a 1st Period Hat Trick.

1. It's just a phase it's a long season and every team has slumps and hot streaks. I would rather take our slump now then coming up to playoffs. Also I know how hard the team is working and this slump shouldn't last much longer. 2. Just "Yeet" the whole team for some low round draft picks. 3. Rayz Funk was practising his slashing technique on THE HOUND. I think he was just trying to injure him so he couldn't take away any of his ice time. 4. We have a great core which are placed high in the overall standings and the young guns are starting to really improve. We should not be taken lightly. 5. Houston is nice, it's warm reminds me a bit of home and the space centre is a cool tour. 6. I don't think it really increases the conversation in game threads. I think that a random game should be chosen and players do a post game interview for that game then one player is chosen per week. This should make the post game threads more interactive and less spammy.

Really strong 1st period but we slacked off. Need to play the full 60 minutes
