The Hounds this year will unfortunately not be making a run at the cup as we are in a rebuilding phase. This means great things for your player though as we have 1st line minutes available as well as minutes on the power play and penalty kill. If you would like to have heaps of ice time and really improve your player and pad their stats this could be the place for you. Other GM's may offer you spots on their rosters also, so if you want feel free to wait until you get more offers. Hi it's Steven Brockman here and we are currently in Sydney today for the VHLM draft and we have an Australian who was part of today's draft Berocka Sundqvist. He shocked the world when he got drafted first overall to the Minnesota Storm. We have Berocka Sundqvist with us today and we are going to ask him a few questions. BS: It is absolutely stellar, I could not have believed going 1st overall and the locals here were really loud it was fantastic. SB: Why do you think you went first overall? BS: I think I put in a lot of effort last season but it was probably because I was surrounded by incredible team mates, both Dan Gles and Callum MacElroy really made me look good. 1) You were just drafted/signed by the Minnesota Storm for S67. What do you think about joining the Storm? I think it is great, it was a great honour to go at 1st overall, and all the guys seem great so far. 2) What are your expectations for the team this year? I want us to make the top 4 the higher the better, the final is really where I expect us to be. 3) What are your expectations for yourself this year? I want to put up 100 points it will be a hard task but I hope I can pull it off. 4) Looking at the rest of the teams in the VHLM, who do you think will be Minnesota’s biggest rival? Why? I think it will either be Philly or Halifax it depends when our games are if we have a lot with one of those teams straight up, that would make a good rivalry. 5) What do you think about the Storm’s facilities? Any recommendations to management for improving the locker room (i.e. Discord LR)? It all seems good I was just surprised I didn't see more people around. But you can only do what you can do. 6) Minnesota is a beautiful state, known as the land of 10,000 lakes. Have you been able to spend any time in Minnesota since you were drafted? What do you think? I haven't had much time to look around yet I have been focusing on making sure that I train so I am ready for game 1.
