You're reading the Star Tribune and this week we've decided to try out something new. From this issue forward we'll be providing you with an interview from athletes on our local sports teams. Our first comes from Anthony Hawk, a bright young star currently playing for the Minnesota Storm. Let's check in.
Star Tribune: Hey Anthony, thanks for sitting down to talk to us. So we've heard that you're actually from Italy, how are you liking Minnesota so far?
Hawk: No problem, let's just make this quik, I have a pizza in the oven. Minnesota is fine I guess. My only complaints are that it's pretty cold here and there's no good pizza.
Star Tribune: Speaking of pizza we've heard that you're planning on opening up a pizzeria right here in Minnesota, is that right?
Hawk: Yeah it's underway right now, you know it's actually a lot harder to get licensed down here than I thought it'd be. Some of the people on city council have a problem with the strip club aspect of it, and the health department has been up my ass. I thought people were joking when they'd say Americans are uptight.
Star Tribune: It may come as a surprise to you but some places in America actually had a problem with this in the 90's. There were nude steakhouses, nude tanning salons, etc. It's sort of a moral issue don't you think?
Hawk: I think that if I talk to you any longer my pizza is going to burn, let's wrap this up.
Well this was the Star Tribune and unfortunately that's all we have for you this week. Keep your eyes out for Hawks Pizza and Pasties #2 location to open right here in town. Oh yeah he also plays hockey or something.
