Review: I must say you did a really good job making this look old. Great logo swap and I like how you got rid of the Blues logos. The whole graphic screams retro and that is all you needed to do. The yellowing on the side is a great touch as many of my old photos look just like that. I think the dust/specks are a bit too strong and you could have gotten rid of that effect on the yellowing part. Overall you did a great job, again. 9/10

Very good point. I have a couple of others I have made that are going to be in the running. I will post those during the next season. I am just banking some tasks and having fun along the way.

With only nine games left, as of this writing, Riga has it's job cut out. Win as much as we can and upset a few teams. We have some hope when it looked hopeless. With the play from our great goalie Tucker and the mad scoring from The Frenchman, Riga is finding some rhythm. It couldn't come at a better time though I wish we started a bit earlier and not be on the edge as we are now. Nine games to determine our fate. I think the players are up to the task and the GM has things set for success. Even Torq has found a bit of his former self and is producing some results. Working together with a great bunch of players makes it much easier to win. We were just fighting the system for most of the season and now that we figured out what boxes to check we seem to be clicking. Every player on the team will have their own story to tell after this season. I hope it is one of success and hard work. Good luck to everyone and stay safe.

1. I think most players have been working on getting better and we just hit a point where we are going to sim a bit better. 2. I don't know much about the draft or what picks are going to be good. 3. He has a lot of talent and seems to be in the groove. I hope he makes it to 40 and beyond. 4. Tucker's play has been solid for most of the season. I expect him to be a real standout going forward. 5. My NHL team is golfing so if that is an indicator, they sucked. 6. We hit a few days in the 70's and now back to wind and rain, but no snow falling so that's a step in the right direction.

Review: You nailed the retro look. It has all the hallmarks of an old photo. The logo looks really good, fact I like it more than the current one. You made a bold move by using the "V" in the text for both names. I have seen that the other way around but it seems to work just fine. I think a couple of things, though minor, I see that I would have done differently. One thing is getting rid of the branding and the other would be to crop the graphic down a bit. Great job 9/10

Review: I must say this is a very clean graphic. Everything is straight forward and comes across as a professional photo. I like the text in the back but not of fan of that font but that is subjective. Logo looks like a perfect size and placement. Background is simple but relevant. It's hard to comment on this style as it wouldn't need any crazy effects or any of the stuff others do to make it looks like something else. Great photorealism. 9/10

Well not going to lie, this season has been a shit show from the start and staying around the same level of consistency of the price of gas. The coach has tried everything to get us going with no luck. We do show glimpses of talent only to fall back into playing like we don't know what a puck is. Chemistry is a hard thing to make. It's comes with time and is more organic than numbers on a sheet. Sometimes you just don't get any lines that perform on a regular basis. I think we are just lacking a big morale boost and we are showing it. Maybe another line shake up or change something that fires up the players and fools Simon into running our team like he likes us. On a side note, does the league feel empty, lifeless, going through the motions? This is not my words but it seems to be a feeling among a few members I have talked to. Yes, we know it is Spring and everyone is out doing stuff but that happens every year. This time it's different. I wonder what's going on if anything. You know how players overreact. Could just be in our heads. Everyone stay safe and enjoy the good weather.

Do you feel activity in VHL has dropped? Wait, there is activity? Yes, it's gone. The league has changed, I guess this is what they were shooting for. 5. Your first thoughts on NHL playoffs? Well my Kings shit the bed last night so the playoffs are dead to me. 6. Do you watch NBA? who you rooting for if the answer is yes? I don't follow the NBA but when I do watch a game it is always the Utah Jazz.

Review: Another fun graphic from you. This is a very interesting picture you used. It's telling a story but not sure what that story is about. I like the effects and the old feel to it. Your logo looks to be in a good position, well done. The text is readable. I think if you played around with the opacity of the logo you could get it to blend in a little better. Also, I think it would have looked good if both names were white. Just nit picking and think what you have is just fine. Great job. 9/10

Review: You have a lot going on here. I really like the design. The logo/jersey work is very nice. The text is a bit wild but fits the overall feel of the graphic well. Nice effects on the full render and the background which has many layers. I think the only thing I would watch for is a better balance between the two renders. The large rear render is a bit over saturated compared to the the main render. Just pointing it out for a good word count. Great job. 9/10

What a week. We are still struggling in Riga to find any sort of consistency or an understanding of what we need to do to fool good ol' Simon. There are some good things that are happening and I guess we just need to focus on what we have and try to overcome our shortcomings. It's a tough season for us but the team is determined to do better. One positive is that the players are getting better each week and really working to get a their build going in the right direction for success. I think it's just the matter of time before we fully understand what works. It will come at some point. Max has played like dog shit and I am sure that wasn't expected. I am surprised just how bad he fell off the map. He hasn't helped the team much at all. Something I hope will change soon. I have no answers to why he is playing worse than his rookie season after such a good string of seasons. Simon I hate you. When things in general are going in a direction you don't like, sometimes you can overreact to things that would normally go unnoticed. I had one of those moments and stepped back from the league for a full three days. I felt empty for doing that and realized I am not only missing something I really enjoy but not doing the team any favors by going inactive. I came to terms on what I need to do and I decided to come back and do the best I could and maybe help pull Riga from the pit of despair to the circle of victory. We all fight personal demons. Sometimes we don't know how to deal with them and make bad choices. I had made a bad choice. I am glad to be back.

Review: Wow, a big bright crisp graphic is always good to see. You did a fine job with the logo swap and I am a huge fan of using the logo as part of the background. Your font choice is interesting. I struggle with text like most do but this seems to work. I would say that the render is a bit more saturated than the background making the colors not match as good as it could be. A minor issue and doesn't effect the overall feel. Great job, I hope to see more of this from you. 9/10
