  1. Review: This is a really fun graphic to look at. I really like the background and how you separated the render from it. Your color palette is spot on including the red/yellow text. The render looks fairly clean and you did a great job with the logo swap. About the only thing I would say is that the balance could be better though it's not bad, it just doesn't follow any format that I use. Overall, like I said, a fun graphic that has some really good elements. Keep up the good work, you have skills. 9/10
  2. 1. Shot in the dark here but I think we aren't winning enough. 2. The coach will find a way to get us going. Fighting Simon is a long battle but I have faith we will start to find our groove soon. 3. Seems like he is doing fine. He will only get better. 4. Score, block shots and stay out of the penalty box. 5. Boston was amazing this season and I hope they don't forget what works in the playoffs. 6. A nice thick Ribeye steak is my favorite to bbq.
  3. I don't want to stop playing in a league that I have loved for 4 years. I will swallow my pride and continue to max earn. Thanks to my friends that commented.

Glad to hear it! We don't really know each other but I'm happy that we'll have the chance to talk one day, :D and maybe even be on the same team!

Hey, I know it's been a while since we've talked about anything but I was sad to see your initial post and happy to see this one. There's actually quite a bit I don't like in this league (and the things you mentioned are at least partly in that category), but I'm also very much of the opinion that it's perfectly OK as long as I can still appreciate the stuff that keeps me here.

It's also great to voice those disagreements, and I'm glad you did. I think the fact that anyone here can make a difference with productive dissent is part of what makes our league great (and honestly it's sometimes one of the most rewarding parts of being a member).

  4. I will no longer be active in this league. I do not like the hybrid system or the harse regression.

That sucks.  Well I enjoyed your graphics!  I guess if the game is no longer fun, you head out to find a new one!

I get not liking the regression, but I think the Hybrid attributes have been great. The Old system felt really basic and was very easy to make a meta build.

  5. If you are just starting out, you are doing great. Keep working at it and you will only get better. Great job so far.
  6. Nothing like a perfect looking render. Great job with this one.
  7. Review: I really like this design. the background is very well done using the color palette from the team logo really worked well. The render has a nice logo swap and you got rid of the NHL branding and added our leagues logo. These are all basic things that a lot of people forget to do. You really did a good job with this. Now, while I think this a great, there are a couple of things that I think would have made it even better. The render size is a bit small. If it was enlarged to fill the left side it would really draw your focus to it. Another thing is the detail is really washed out on the renders face. A small amount of sharpening could help this a bit. Overall I really think you did a great job. Keep pushing your skills and I look forward to your next projects. 9/10
  8. Review: Nice mix of effects and a multi render graphic that is always a challenge to have turn out right. It seems you got this one right though. I could say the NHL branding could have been removed and the center of a multi render usually works best when the middle of the graphic is between the renders. Your displacement effect is a bit strong but works good enough. I really like the background, it complements the renders well. The text is placed well enough to read and overall I think this is a great graphic. Well done. 9/10
  9. The season is well underway and I must say, Riga is not where I thought it would be. Though there are many games to play and we can gain ground and play to our potential. Coming to a new team is always a bit stressful. I don't know many of the players and only talked to the GM a couple of times. I am sure things would get better if we were winning and Max was playing like he has over his career. It will come soon. Maybe he is gripping his stick a bit too hard. Meanwhile, the European conference is going to be another tough season filled with teams that will battle to make the playoffs. With a bit of puck luck and hard work, Riga should be a team making a push to get in. Still too early to predict how the rest of the season will go but I would say things are going to get better sooner than later. Good luck to everyone and stay safe.
  10. This concludes my Ghost graphics
  11. LOL. I had that graphic downloaded but it didn't fit my needs.
  12. I like this design concept. Keep working on this style.
  13. You do this style so well. I am jealous.
  14. What a ride Max had in Malmo. We were a determined bunch for sure. We gave it our all last season and while not winning the cup, we had a huge moral victory in taking our playoff run to seven games in the conference finals. We had a blast and everyone was encouraging each other to push hard. It was one of those highlights in a players career that will always be remembered. Max was only one of many that were moved off the team. It was time for a Malmo reset and everyone was happy to leave if it made Malmo a better team for seasons yet to be played. I think the trades brought in some good solid youth that should grow and become another great chapter in the Malmo saga. I think everyone grew up a little in the last couple of seasons and some players that didn't put in the effort before turned it around and became very good earners and great team mates. I wish all my past team mates great success and I hope they have fond memories of the time we made the “Big Push”. I know it will stay with me as a career moment that will be hard to forget. Now Max has something to prove in Riga. Can the old man make shit happen in his fading career? I think he can. We will see.
  15. Review: This is a way cool looking graphic. Huge render with all the bells and whistles. Great logo swap and it has all the detail anyone could want. The background is a unique design with a wild color palette. While I do like the background, I am not sure all the color ranges are playing well with each other. It doesn't look bad, just different. The heavy shadowing looks good but I wonder if the text should be on top of it. Overall, a great job. 9/10
  16. Review: You always make great graphics. This one is no different, very well done. I like the multi render graphics I've seen lately and yours is one of the best. Looks like you have all the post processing tools and know how to use them. I really like the focal point of the main render. It draws your eyes right to it. Logo swaps are very well done and I like the text, one of my weak points. I think the only thing I would say about this is the balance is very center left heavy. Maybe if the text were moved right it would look more balanced, not sure. Great graphic that I have come to expect from you. 9/10
  17. Max Torq had a great time playing in Malmo. Four seasons of fun and success. Malmo is a great place to be when you are either a young player or an old veteran. It was time to rotate the aging players out and bring in some youth for the future success of the team. Max knew this was the plan the whole time and had great communication with the GM. It was a fun time, one I hope to repeat with another player down the road. The trade was a bit sad as all Max's team mates were shipped off and then Max to Riga. Riga, a very interesting team that has an active locker room and players that want to win. It will be a fun challenge to see how well we all player together but I have a feeling it should work out really good for the team this season. Trades can be stressful on a player but Max is happy for his time in Malmo and the friends he made there but looks forward to doing the same with his new team. It should be a great ending to Max's career if he stays in Riga. Good luck to all this next season.
  18. Review: A good looking design for sure. I like how simple yet effective the background is. Very well done. Nice effect behind the render and the logo swap look very well done. Just a couple things I think, all subjective, is that the render could be a bit larger with the helmet clipping the top boarder and you could mess around with the blend ranges a bit to bring some detail into the solid black jersey. Great design, I really like the feel of this one. 8/10
  19. Review: You have a lot of elements in this graphic. Something I really like to see. I think your approach to using many different parts is a solid design. The harder part is to make them look like they are part of the same graphic. It takes some blending and color matching to get those results. You are well on your way to making some really good multi render/element graphics. Keep working on your skills and I can't wait to see what you do next. 8/10
  20. 1. I think it was a trade that brought Max but he is happy to be on the Riga team. 2. I am still getting used to the team and have not contacted them. 3. I don't understand the question. Like, what's your favorite thing about a heart attack. 4. Felt really good. Ate a good breakfast, got my coffee and worked real hard and pushed the training camp button for 10. 5. Yes, I always keep my eye on the NHL. 6. Pancakes, waffles and then French toast.
