1. Very hard-fought series, both of them. Could have gone either was this last playoff. Impressive to make it to the finals back to back. 2. I really like a good mild turkey chili.... 3. I am just mitigating the depreciation at this point. 4. I intend to watch the Penguin but not a huge fan of that series. 5. Hopefully, through FA and maybe prospects coming up, Toronto will be back to form in no time. 6. "Do you feel lucky punk?"

I am not going to lie, this off season seems like it is really dragging. It might be because the cup party is long over and everyone has left to do some off season vacation stuff. I haven't had much time to go on any trips, so I am just hanging out waiting for the good shit to happen. I am still waiting for my day with the cup. Red Panda took it on day one and that's the last any of us has seen it. Rumor has it that he is sleeping with it every night. I don't judge. As long as it doesn't show up all beat to hell, I am sure everyone will get a day with the cup. We lost a few key players and gained a few key players. How that all works out remains to be seen. I am sure there will be a bit of juggling, but it will all work out in the end. We will still look strong for the playoffs I firmly believe. Time will tell. A Riga repeat would be really cool. I have a feeling that Riga will have a target on it's back for most of the season. Could be some hard fought games this season. Word count: 209

Review: This large scale graphic is very easy to review. It looks top notch in every way. Multi render graphics are not very easy to pull off, but this one nailed it. I can't get over the quality of the background, very well thought out and a great design. Renders look clean and detailed with very good logo swaps, what more could anyone ask for. The balance looks great, the render placement looks natural. The text is well positioned but I question your font choice. It looks great, though maybe something that looks more "royal" would also work with the theme better. Very subjective. I also think it is one of the better graphics I have seen posted. You could not have picked a better player for this project. Great team mate. 10/10

Review: You really made an awesome graphic with this one. I really like detail, and this one delivers just the right amount without any over sharpening. The background looks very neutral and compliments the main feature of the graphic, the render. I like the text and the fonts used. It looks well balanced and just looks good. It is a soft graphic, I would think it was by design. I like the particle effect, it adds without taking away. I would say that the only thing that maybe could have been better is the Moscow Menace at the bottom. A small drop or outline would make it a tad more readable. Overall, fantastic. 9.5/10

1. I would say that we were able to overcome their loaded offense with our talented defense. 2. I was on the other end of that series, so I am always motivated. 3. Many players did a great job but I would point to Gunner....biased. 4. They relied too much on their offense and had a weaker defense. 5. It only makes sense. The league is shrinking. 6. I think I will pay attention once I find out what that is.

Riga has proven to be a great playoff team. After a competitive series with the powerhouse Davos, we were headed to the finals. I'm not going to underplay the Davos series, they were a tough team to play against. Hat's off to that team, they played us hard. Toronto was our opponent in the finals. The second season in a row for Gunner going against them for the cup when he was on Moscow. They were a powerhouse last season as well. It turned out to be a cliffhanger to say the least. We were up 3 games to 1, and it went to game 7 to get the last win. Yes, it was a nail biter. I think Toronto changed their lines a bit and we made a small adjustment. The rest is history. Riga wins a cup. I hear the last one they won was in season 72, so a long drought. It was good to see the team come together and cheer everyone onto victory. Gunner also extended his stay with Riga for the rest of his career if possible. At least he is under contract for that to happen. So back to back cups for Gunner on two different teams against the same opponent. Amazing how things work out. Word count: 213

They look good in the shower, just not the playoffs.

Review: Wow, you really got the neon text going on this graphic. I needed to grab my sunglasses to continue. All kidding aside, this looks really good in a lot of different ways, and it has a couple of things that could have been done differently. I like the text row background layer, that always fills any dead zones and looks interesting if nothing else. That and the city skyline for Calgary all works together, like it should. Like I said, the text looks great and I think the position of it is fitting for this design. I think the blurring on the helmet is a bit off putting. I think you were trying to hide a logo or something. That and the render's black level is really crushed. I bit of levels adjustment could have added some detail. And of course, you left the NHL collar logo. Overall, I like the design, even though it might be a bit rushed. 8/10

Review: I really like this design even though I don't know who that character is. I like the theme of the teams you might go to and I think you made a very unique graphic. I like the smoke, who doesn't, as the main effect on black. It really stands out and looks to fit in with this design really well. About the only thing that might look a little off is the blurred team logos. I am not sure what effect you were going for but it is your design choice and you stuck with it. One other thing I thought could have been kind of cool is changing the sword for a hockey stick. Overall you did a fine job with this. I like it. 9/10

Riga looks to be a bit more than a runner up team. Malmo was an easy team to beat for some reason. There was no reason for Riga to dominate them, but that is how this league works. Moscow also took the fast track to the off season. Amazing talent on both teams but it didn't translate to playoff success. Playing underdog hockey in Riga has been fun and I look forward to our hardest series with Davos. Another team that has a bunch of talent and plays really well in the playoffs. I consider this the cup series. The winner will most likely go on to win the cup. As of today, Saturday, the series is tied at two games each. I expect the Sunday games will be the end of the series. I am that confident in Riga to predict that. I am biased of course and it could blow up in my face. Here's to hoping we pull it out and move on to win the cup. Word count: 170

1. No need to refresh, just go out and play our game. We got this. 2. It doesn't matter to me really. 3. Anand had the luxury of being on the 2nd line while the defensive 1st line took the heat. I expected a 2nd line player would be the scoring element of the team. That strat worked perfectly. 4. I'm ready. Just point me to the ice. 5. Malmo and Moscow are over skilled and will drop like a dress on prom night. 6. I don't have any means to watch NHL content at the moment.

Review: I really like this graphic for many reasons. It is always good to see decent layer work and you did a great job with this design. I really like the texturing in the white bar and the face of the render looks badass with the color retained. This effect really makes the team logo fit very natural. It really doesn't fit in any format that I have used but it looks balanced and just flat out good to stare at. I like the text, just not where you put it. I think a bit lower would fit well but then it might get lost in the background. It's all subjective so not a bad thing at all. I like this style, I wish I could make more of this design. Great job. 9.5/10

Review: This is a top notch design that not many here can pull off. Very artistic and well thought out. Any multi-render graphic has it's own challenges but you really did a pro job of this one. Excellent background with some wicked smoke effects that compliment your amazing render display. Text is well done and does it's job without pulling your eyes off the renders. I would say that this is one of the most technical graphics I have seen in a long time. Very well done. 10/10

It looks like Riga will be facing the big strong Malmo team in the playoffs. A big team with tons of talent. Very well coached and the players seem to be on the same page. I think Riga will have a hard time against them, but not counting us out. I have seen top teams drop like a dress on prom night in the playoffs, so anything could happen. I think we are well prepared to take them on. I have started a list of excuses to use after the series is over, just in case. I really hope we can have a hard fought series that goes the distance. You just never know once the playoff index has your team loaded if you are on the good side or bad side. It looks like Moscow is looking to repeat, they have the best chance to do that this season. Gunner, staying true to his defensive center build, expects to get beat like a rented mule. Hopefully freeing up the other line to do some scoring. We will see. Next week could be a golfing report or and victory speech, ya just never know. Word count: 194

1. We could if we win every game. I predict we finish 3rd... 2. He had Simon fighting him all week. Maybe he will play better this week. 3. I think that would be great and I see no reason whey he won't finish on top. 4. I don't watch other sports besides hockey and formula Uno. 5. John Wick 1, John Wick 2, John Wick 3. I like good family films. 6. I can honestly say, I haven't looked at the draft class at all.

Review: I really like a big, super clean graphic. You did a really good job of balancing detail over choosing a ton of effects. The background is very complimentary and just adds to the main focus of the graphic. Renders don't get much cleaner than this. Very nice detail in the face along with the proper logo swaps makes this one of the better renders I have seen lately, well done. I also like the vibrant colors, it really does make this pop. Overall, great job. 9/10

Review: Not a bad looking graphic. One of the first I have seen using the Greenland flag for the background. Your render looks clean with no ragged edges, good to see. The logo swap looks like it fits the moment, so that is a huge plus. I am not a fan of the font you used but that is always subjective. It gets the job done and is well placed. I think the background, with all it's grit/noise, overpowers the render by a mile. I'm not saying it is the wrong design choice, I just think a blurred background with more detail in the render would be a better approach. Overall, very well done. 9/10

Malmo Nighthawks Team Press Conference
Steve replied to KaleebtheMighty's topic in Team Press Conferences
1. I don't know how the MVP is picked but he is in a good position to be one. 2. I really don't know how that impacts the HOF stuff. Sounds important though. 3. I think the playoffs should be included. What's the point of doing something amazing during the season and not do well in the playoffs. 4. I really can't think of anything other than a hot tub and super models. 5. Kaleeb is a great person and Malmo is much better off with him at the helm. 6. I would settle for a pizza, or ice cream, or both. -
Another week and Riga has shown to be a determined team. I can't say where we will end up, but it has been fun being on a team that really doesn't have high skilled players across the board. I like to think of Riga as the ultimate blue collar team that just works with what it has. Nothing fancy, but it seems to work. I am sure we will get smacked around by the big boy teams, but in the end, we will still be a threat to other teams. Can we win the cup? Of course we can, though the odds would not be in our favor. We will do what we can and see where we end up. It comes down to the schedule and who we play. It is a funny place to be but nothing wrong with that. I think after this next update, the team will be a bit better. It is scary to even say that but all indications are pointing in the right direction. All good signs if you are a Riga fan.
