1. Not to sound silly here but did anyone expect us to start the season 12-0-1? What has been the biggest surprise been so far in the new season? Why? i'd be lying if I saud I expected it. But we have a great group so anything is possible. I think the biggest surprise is our 5 on 5 play in a league with so much parity. 2. Nezuko @Baozi steps straight into the team and leads the wolves in points; was this expected when Nezuko @Baozi first signed in Vancouver or did you expect them to take time building chemistry with their new line mates? He has replaced Leduc's production and then some. Just glad he chose to sign with us in FA. Now we have to deliver and get him a cup. 3. Is there any question around who our current MVP has been this season? Who do you think it is and why? I think Fuhr has stolen the show this season and is a big reason that we're 20-4-1. 4. Our two rookies, Wann Kerr @VattghernCZ and Jens Lekman @Bobcat have now played a dozen games in the VHL; How would you rate them in the first dozen games? (Scale 1-10) 10. These two have very bright futures in this league if they weren't in Vancouver they'd be leading the league in rookie scoring. Just lucky to have been able to draft them both. 5. What has been the most impress aspect of the current team record and is there anything you think could be improved? Just a general commitment from everyone to get the team wins. I think the only thing we need to improve is our special teams. 6. Riddle: In Hockey, which players have the best apartments? I gave up on this one fairly quickly so I'm going to give a terrible answer. The players that get paid the most?

A lot of what you said is true there really isn't any grand gesture when you get called up to the bigs. Most members have to find their own motivation and self fulfillment. Kerr is also playing behind a deep forward group so it will be difficult to contend for ROTY honours. Hopefully team success and me doing my job as GM can keep you around long enough since the individual accolades might ve a while yet. Kerr also had a very strong season in the E so it might be a bit tough going from over a point per gane to half that Hopefully that motivates you though, you have a ton of potential as a player and member.

Lekman having a strong start in the VHL as well. Riding that high from the gold medal.

1. World Junior Championship finished last week with Wann Kerr @VattghernCZ and Jens Lekman @Bobcat winning gold for Europe; Do you actually follow the WJC? Why or why not? A big congratulations to them both, they're already building chemistry ahead of their rookie seasons in the VHL. Both players are off to a great start despite playing behind some strong veterans. I try to follow all things league related but of course if my team or players on my team are involved it peaks my interest that much more. 2. Continue to talk about best-on-best tournaments, the World Cup final is being played today. Do you follow the World Championship? Why or why not? I always followed the Continental Cup more than the World Cup, only because it feels like a bit of an all star game at times. Still an interesting tourney none the less. 3. Last week the team drafted Oreo McFleury @JB123 with the fifth overall pick and brother Reese McFleury @Spaz with the eighth overall pick. Can you recall the other two other players selected in similar position that are currently key aspect of the Vancouver Wolves roster? Who are they and are the McFleurys` going to have similar success in Vancouver? Dogwood Maple and Pierre Emile Bouchard. If Oreo and Reese have the same success it's going to be strong run in Vancouver going forward. I was really happy we got both @JB123 and @Spaz it's going to really extend our competitive window with the cap the way it is. 4. Later this week, maybe even as early as today this season captains should be announced. What skills make a good captain? Why? A strong locker room presence and a talented player on the ice are my two biggest notes for who should be team captain. I think @Gaikoku-hito is very deserving of being selected team Captain. With that being said there are so many great members currently on the roster and in the system, that there would have been no bad choices. 5. Issue faced by the league over the past week has been active UFA player unable to find a roster spot; Have you been following the situation and what would your solution be? It's a tough situation since players who don't give much effort tend to be forgotten. It looks like it was sorted out and there aren't too many players left twisting in the wind. 6. Riddle: With pointed fangs I sit and wait; with piercing force I crunch out fate; grabbing victims, proclaiming might; physically joining with a single bite. What am I? I'm going to admit to cheating since I'm terrible at riddles but @VattghernCZ seems to be bang on, stapler it is.
