diacope got a reaction from sadie in praising my GMs for extra TPE (they are genuinely awesome though)
It's hard for me to get a conversation going and I've been lacking the last week with weekly leaders but I try my best to have fun and update the team, in the end hope that it sparks the team in anyway so I'm glad it did with you.. That's what the plan was this season and definitely want to carry it over into future seasons

Didn't know lemorse managed you, he's very cool 😎

So far, my journey in the VHL has been a great experience, and I’ve made some friends, had fun making content for TPE, and the people in general are pretty awesome! In this article I’ll appreciate some of the people who have helped make the VHL a better experience for me- the GMs I’ve had up to this point. If they hadn’t drafted or claimed me, I would have missed out.

I will start with the person who, in the midst of his waiver claiming insanity, offered me a contract on the day I joined: @jacobcarson877. He was my GM on the S84 San Diego Marlins and in the following offseason when I played for the Brigade in the Junior Showcase Tournament. He was extremely helpful from the beginning when I joined the San Diego locker room and, having a team of almost entirely new players, did a very good job of creating a good atmosphere in which people talked. It goes without saying that he was the one who brought the trio together for the first time. I had a lot of fun at the end of that season despite us missing the playoffs! Jacob was similarly helpful and kind in the Brigade locker room and we ended up winning the whole tournament (W Brigade we are built different)!

Next is @Lemorse7, who I was drafted by in the Victory Pro-Am League during the offseason as a part of the Arctic Ground Squirrels. Lemorse was a great GM; he always hyped everyone up after good games and the red panda content is amazing. He drafted an amazing team and it was really cool to have the opportunity to see how I can do playing with (and against) some of the very best VHL players (spoiler alert: I was absolute trash). I’m very excited that I have him as a GM again in the SBA on the Louisville Lions, so I’m sure that I will have a ton of fun there!

The last two GMs that I’ve had are my current GMs: @lil OG z and @Jason kranz who are the GM and AGM of the Ottawa Lynx. They took me 4th overall in the VHLM draft, which was awfully nice of them, and since then the Ottawa Lynx locker room has been good. Jason and Z are active a lot and give good reminders for TPE, and in addition to that they're just fun. They maintain an active locker room and get people hyped for sims. In my opinion, the atmosphere in the locker room is awesome because we have many active people who play games and ask questions. Our GMs must be doing an awesome job anyway because the Lynx are first overall in the VHLM (at least for now we are). Hopefully we can end up on top of the league at the end of the season and take home the Founders Cup!

Thank you guys for being great- hopefully I can get more good GMs in the future as Sadie St-Louis moves forward in her career!

The fact that Richards has scored 11 points in the past 5 games is astonishing and great news for the Lynx. It seems they have found a line combination that works for the first round surprise. Heading into the past sims which were a double sim, Richards was sitting at 41 points in 45 games. After the sims Richards sits at 52 points in 50 games. He had a 4 assist game against the Hounds and that really propelled him to these point totals. he now has a 7 game point streak where he has scored 14 points in his past 7 or something like that. Richards is sitting at 183 TPE and will be capped as soon as next update. He should end up with at least 197 TPE by the end of this week assuming he get's nothing from fantasy zone. Richards and the Lynx are battling for first right now with the Aces who seem to have the Lynx's number when it comes to beating them. Though we have had some close games, we have not been able to overcome our rivals in Vegas.

Richards isn't scoring 40 goals this season by any stretch but he is scoring tons of assists with 36 assists and 16 goals his role of being a goal scorer has flipped this year. He still hopes for 25 goals though which is entirely possible. At the rate he's going he could score 85 points in 72 games.

The turn around for Richards has been incredible to watch and he continues to get better and better.

    The Expectation:

What should be the expectations for our team this season? What are some realistic goals that the Chicago Phoenix can achieve this season? What is impossible to achieve?

The Chicago Phoenix is in a perfect position for contention. The team consists of a mix of old and young players. The young players could benefit from the veterans who have experienced pressure in dire situations. Who is this organization's past, present, and future? There are multiple ways to answer that question. This season will be a fantastic idea of how the Chicago Phoenix will perform in the next decade. To find out some of the best players in this franchise, we have to start with the player who made it possible for us to be challengers to the throne. This era of the Chicago Phoenix begins with the incredible coaching staff.

    Coaching Staff:

They have done a fantastic job at building a team that is energetic, hard-working, and resilient in its craft. The coaching staff is the reason why the locker room bonds with unity. Another reason why our locker room works so well is that we are knowledgeable. The coaching staff always puts out suggestions for our build or comments from the latest games. It is such a great feeling to have experienced coaches on your side. They know how to handle and adapt to situations like injuries or defeats. It's been such a blessing to have them by their side.

    Baby Bob:

He is the sole reason we went to game seven against the Seattle Bears. He motivates me to improve my craft, especially as an elite scorer. Since the Chicago Phoenix signed him, his game has improved daily. He went from 39 goals, 44 assists, and 83 points to 49 goals, 51 assists, and 100 points. Last season was the first time Baby Bob reached 100 points in a regular season. In his first two seasons, he was close to getting 100 points. During the playoffs, he recorded six goals, two assists, and 8 points in 7 games, and some of his best performances are against the Seattle Bears in games 1 and 3. I expect Baby Bob to reach 150 points this season. He is one of the most talented wingers of this era because of his dedication to winning and working on his craft.

    Scotty Sundin:

From the home of Sweden, he is one of the best centers in the league. His experience, talent, and knowledge help our forwards line defend our territory. He is fantastic at balancing his goal and assists contributions. Last season he recorded 37 goals and 39 assists in 72 games. He took a small role in the playoffs; he only recorded three assists.

    Bo Johansson and Alessandro Nano:

The duo of Bo Johansson and Aurelian proved to be a pivotal part of our run in the playoffs; they almost recorded 100 points together in the regular season. New season, with the same goal. They know that a championship would put them as one of the best duos to win it all.

The first year was a brilliant start to building a contending roster. Now, we must use our talents to create a championship-quality team.

diacope reacted to John Cimarno in Richards And Friends
Richards has turned his season around. He was extremely underwhelming for large portions of the season this year but now he has 52 points in 50 games. He has way more assists than originally expected and is looking like the steal of the first round. Although the players chosen ahead of him have all had incredible seasons respectfully, Richards has done it all and is doing it all. He has the PIMS, the hits, the goals, the assists, the points, he has played up and down the lineup and has even played defense. Richards has shown to be a leader in the lockerroom and is willing to give the Lynx anything in order to help the franchise win. He sees the biggest competition for the championship is the Aces. They are the only team that the Lynx haven't been able to beat in the regular season yet.

Excited and motivated to keep scoring and keep on winning, Richards has been working out harder than usual. It's like there's a new found confidence in the man that was never seen before. And now that there's 22 games left in the regular season, what better time to heat up than now? His usual linemate in Sadie St Louis has been moved to defense and Jaggerbomb has taken her spot on the first line so Richards is now the first scoring option in terms of goals. This could either further benefit his game or weaken it. I can see it going both ways to be honest. Richards is a strong scoring winger who can play anywhere in the lineup and isn't afraid to get in the dirty areas. If you need a goal put Richards out there, he will do his best to make something happen. He takes a lot more penalties than most skilled, scoring wingers do but that's part of his game. For a 5'10 player he is quite feisty and loves to play the physical game having nearly over 100 hits as the Lynx lead in that department it's in no question that Richards has a huge part in that.

As Richards gets better, so does his team and teammates. This past sim the Lynx went 4-1-0, the only loss was a 5-3 loss against the Los Vegas Aces. Richards had an assist in that game stretching his point streak to 7 games. He would love to score more goals but won't complain about the assists at all as he has 36 assists in 50 games. He is almost an assist per game which is incredible. He has a new found passion to distribute the puck and put it in an area where his linemates, Brayden and Sadie can bury it. He is excited to end the season on a high note. As he prepares for the VHLE draft, he is trying to impress the scouts by scoring as much as possible. Think March Madness but in October, that's what Richards is doing. It seems like these past 5 games Richards raised his game to another level. He has seemed to be a whole head above the competition and has been destroying the VHLM as of late. Hopefully this continues to be the case through the last 22 games of the season and he can carry over this incredible success into the playoffs.

Usually they take about 24 hours before the next sim and I think they were earlier at the beginning of the season but recently a few simmers were busy and one person has been simming all the leagues
