1. as of right now we're 13-13 thats pretty good for a young low tpe team.

5.  A guy sits down in a Cafe' and asks for the hot chile.

         He looks over and sees that the guy's finished his meal, but the chili bowl is still full.

         The other guy says, "No. Help yourself."
         
         He takes it and starts to eat it. When he gets about half way down, his fork hits something. He looks down sees a dead mouse in it, and he pukes! the chili back into the bowl.

6. i use to row in high school so i guess i'd go back to doing that but to quote Hugh Laurie "its a miserable sport"

2) Ottawa has the number one scorer from the regular season, Theodore Hoffman. How hard will it be to contain him?

4) The Ottawa/Minnesota matchup is a pretty intense one historically (going back to my first season in the VHL where we as the Lynx beat Minnesota in the Founder's Cup Finals  ) what are your thoughts on it? Do you think the VHLM can really form rivalries due to how it's set up?

5) We went 6-1-1 against the Lynx during the regular season. Do you remember any of the games? 

6) Do you think home ice matters less during COVID times? Does it matter at all?

1. 4-0 sweep
2. hopefully we ca keep him to a low amount of points but its gonna be hard to shut him down

1. goalies are usually pretty flexible so i bet either one of them could kill it on the dance floor.

Season 76 of the VHLM is underway and the signs of what this season will hold for each team are starting to show and one team looks to have quite the promising season ahead of them. The Minnesota Storm have come out of the gates swinging and showing the league that they mean business this year. In there six games played so far, they have a record of 4 wins one loss and one overtime loss for a total of 9 points. Those 9 points are good for second in the league and first in the western Conference they are one point above both Halifax and Philadelphia with a game in hand above philly. Minnesota currently sits top of the league in goals scored with 35 two ahead of both Houston and Yukon who are tied for 33 each. They do slip a little in goals against with currently sitting tied for fifth in the league with the Mississauga hounds who is sitting at the bottom of the league points wise. The reason for Minnesota’s early success may come from the never-ending depth that floods their roster, they have eight players who are currently sitting at above a point a game and all but one player has recorded at least one point so far this season. There leading scorer Brian Moreau is sitting at a pretty 17 points in just 6 games played well on his way to absolutely destroy his last years total of 23 points in 69 (nice) games. Four more players have already reached the 10-point mark so far as well, they are Brendan Telker (15), The one and only Grapes (12), Logan Moore (11), and Joseph Sharkton (10). it is still early in the season so they may slip from the top dog position in the west but it’s a hell of a good position to start the long and difficult 72 game season that is the VHLM. 

Brussels Sprout

 

 

 

Brussels Sprout was born on the hard streets of Belarus to a loving mother and father and two older twin brothers Dylan and Cole Spouts. He grew up working on the family cabbage orchard where he would work from dawn until dusk picking bushels of cabbages from each tree. Sadly, Brussels was never very tall so he had to bring a ladder with him if he wanted to get the fresh cabbages from the very top of the trees. 

 

During one winter when cabbage was out of season and Brussels had plenty of free time he decided to learn to skate and took an old pair of skates to the local pond and see if he could learn to skate. Some say he was a master at skating on his first try, others say he tripped and cried and only became good at skating out of spite when people made fun of him for crying and said he sucked at skating. Either way he eventually became one of the best up and coming skaters in all of Belarus and would eventually end up playing at the highest junior level in his country, the BCPHHL (Belarus Can Play Hockey Hockey League). 

 

In his first season he led the league in assists with 12 in 75 games he was already on his way to super stardom. As many may know Brussels is not the most intimidating figure, standing at only 5 foot 5 many would guess he would be an easy target to push around BUT thanks to his all-cabbage diet which causes superhuman strength in large quantities he can be the most unmovable player you would ever see…. when he wants to be. So, since his 16th birthday he has been playing in the BCPHHL he is now 36 years old and in that time, he leads in all major stats you can think of. He is basically the Wayne Gretzky of Belarus but cooler and HOTTER. In his 1500 games played in BCPHHL he has 2,645 goals and 6,483 assists for a grand total of a whopping amount of points that you can add together yourself. 

 

But after dominating the Belarus Can Play Hockey Hockey League for 20 years, he has finally decided to leave for the VHLM to eventually play in the VHL. He played at the very end of the 75th season racking up what I could only assume was a league leading 4 points in 10 games before the season ended. Clearly the future is very bright for this little guy lets just hope he doesn’t dominate too hard.

1. very well a little boring but in these days boring is a-ok with me.
2. win most of my faceoffs and be productive on both ends of the ice.
