  1. Are you excited for the WJC? I'm excited about all the players. Who are you rooting for and why? I'm not rooting for any certain player. Who do you think will win? The best team always wins! Who do you think Claims MVP? Not sure really. Who Makes the All-star team? Brendan Plunkett Do you sing your country's national anthem or just mouth the words? Sing it What team would you like to GM in the WJC? Any team would be fine with me! one player to snag from another team to add to your current team who is of the same nationality! Aamon Grim Would you ever burn a flag if you knew you wouldn't get caught? nope You just got a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct, what did you do? I go to the box and not be too happy about it. Jersey color swap for WJC special jerseys, what colors would you give each team? Arctic Blue for one and Blaze Red for the other What is your fav task to gain tpe and why? I love making graphics!
  2. 1) Does your player have a pre-game ritual? What is it? Bolonee likes to have alone time with his girlfriend and burn some calories! Before and after every game! lol she likes that Tantric 2) What is your favorite goal song? I like My Sharona !! (They should change it to "My Bologna") 3) What kind of mascot would you like to see for the Rush? I'm not sure? 4) Who is your favorite player in the VHL? I don't have one. 5) What number do you wear and why? I wear number 38 because my forearms weigh 11 lbs each. If you calculate 3+8 equals 11 6) We're a couple of weeks in, who would you vote for the C and A's? (1C, 2A) Yes, I would like to see Erik Draven, Plunkett or Flowers all get leadership roles. I feel like Draven is very vocal and helps keep everyone on the same page and would stick up for his teammates no matter what. Plunkett has been a beast on points and scoring phenomenally also. Flowers has been scoring almost a point per game and is a very physical presence!

  4. @Jbeezy76 yes that is correct my TPE is at 60 TPE now.
  5. @Jbeezy76 yes Tony Bolonee was recruited by Erik Draven! Let's Go Yukon!!
  6. 1) Is there a player on the team that you think deserves more recognition for their contributions? Reference: https://vhlforum.com/topic/66393-yukon-rush-week-1-stars/ I think Justin Rushmore deserves some recognition for putting forth a good effort. 2) Based on the games so far, where do you think Yukon will end up in the standings at the end of the season? We will end up in the TOP 5 3) What teams do you see in the top 3 of the VHL standings and why? Helsinki, Moscow, and Toronto because of their consistent play. 4) If the VHL does expand as some people expect, where would you like to see a new team? The Midwest would be a nice place for a new team. 5) How do you see a couple of upcoming games against Minnesota going? If they've already happened; review them against your expectations. Yukon will play them with a better scoring touch because Draven has been sent to the 2nd line and has been a different player at Center position. 6) GM/AGM feedback: Is there anything we aren't doing that you'd like to see? No both of you are doing great!
  7. Tony Bolonee Position: Defense Age:18 Height: 6ft 6" Weight : 220 lbs Number: #38 Strengths 1) Size: Tony was always a tall kid growing up but by the time he reached 18 yrs old he was overly tall and stands at towering 6 ft 6" inches in height. While playing organized hockey between the ages of 7 and 14 yrs of age Bolonee was still hovering over most players and he began to realize very quickly that this would be his best attribute as long as he could be fast enough to keep up and produce at a high level. After time went by he was training so hard that he started to dominate physically and became somewhat of a local legendary defenseman in his Hometown of St.louis, Missouri. 2) Passing: Tony started working on his passing at an early age. As a small child, he could be seen playing with his favorite hockey stick just shooting passes off the brick wall by his home to himself. Once he hit the age of 9 years old Tony had a couple of years under his belt. Therefore he was putting up great offensive statistics and producing a large number of assists. His first pass accuracy is off the charts and is the player you want to start the plays from out of your own zone. Skating 3) Skating: There was a time when Bolonee couldn't even skate on roller skates. But once he got his first pair of ice skates Tony really loved getting out in the cold weather and practicing. Even though he was so tall he had a gracefulness about his stride. His main focus as defenseman has always been to move the puck quickly and he believes the first thing a great d man can do to alleviate the pressure on the backend is to become a fast skater. He prides himself in his skating ability and can really move himself and the puck. Weaknesses 1) Pass-First mentality: While Tony has always been a good producing defenseman he still has a bad habit of maybe passing a little to much instead of taking the shot and just getting it on the net. Though this is a like a double-edged sword because due to this habit it also has produced many great plays, and on the other end he has coughed up the puck and it has led to breakaways. 2) Slapshot: Something is to be said about Bolonees wicked wrist shot and fabulous one-timer, but his slap shot is something of an acquired taste. His accuracy rate is very low when taking slap shots. If under great pressure while performing the slap shot he rarely capitalizes. But if left wide open his chances definitely better to score. 3) Professional Inexperience: Even though Bolonee has played years of organized hockey and even has experience playing overseas in international games he has very limited experience with playing at a professional level. He still has many things to learn about the ins and outs of being a professional hockey player. His new contract with Yukon will help him get ready for the Big Time in the VHL.

  9. 1) Since it's not been too long since you've joined the league, what are thoughts on the league so far as a whole? This is going to be fun! I really like it so far. 2) Are there any areas in the league that you would like to see a change/improvement? Just quicker updates and approvals. 3) The VHLM Newsletter launched earlier this week, did you read it and was it helpful to you? Yes, I read it and it helped me tremendously. 4) What are your aims this season in the VHLM? I want to upgrade my TPE constantly for maximum results and need to sign with a VHLM team. Hopefully Yukon! 5) With the teams starting to take shape, who do you consider to be the favorite for the VHLM Founders Cup? I like Yukon and Minnesota! 6a) Is there any player on your VHL team that you're particularly looking forward to playing with when you make the VHL? (For players who were also in the VHL Draft) I would like to play on the same team as Erik Draven! I am not on a team yet. 6b) What do you think of your current VHLM team? (If you were selected in the VHLM Draft) I'm a free agent! 6c) If a GM were to make you an offer, what kind of player would they be getting? (If you're currently unaffiliated). They would be getting big young defenseman that puts defense first and has a great outlet pass when transitioning from zone to zone. Playmaker and hard to move off the puck due to his 6ft 6" 220 lb frame.
