  5. I’ll apply - Id love to be an updated, and I have the time and dedication to do it. I’ve applied in the past, and want to try again. I’d also like to recommend Gustav, he is very active, and I think he would make a great updater!! ?

  10. Congrats @bigAL, when I applied, I was worried you would get it lol. Congrats, you’ll do great, just watch out for krice, he might eat you.
  11. Well, I know you said not to apply, because you wouldn’t pick me, and I can’t set lines, but i’m still gunna put my name as an option here. I can do everything on that list to perfection on that list except set lines. I know that is a big role in the AGM spot, but i’m hoping we can work through it together. You know me and i’m pretty active in the Yukon LR. So yeah, I completely understand why if you don’t pick me, and yeah, applied.
  12. Well uhm.. there is a benefit or two. You get power over the players, and your GM gets 2 TPE extra per week, and if he wants he can spilt the TPE 50/50 with you. And yea, so far, every team has only had one AGM, possibly in the future it might change though! Welcome tot he league.
  13. Hire this man!! He would be a great agm!
  14. Greeting Krice, I already told you I am going to try and be as serious as possible in this, so here I go... grab some popcorn and a camera, this will be funny. I am your best option here Mr. Krice. I am as active as a gym rat, and if you think i’m active in the Yukon LR, just you wait, i’m way more active in San Diego, and Davos, teams that I play for, and if I get hired, I will be just that active in Miami as well! Back when I was in my rookie season in San Diego, I was their team scout, and when I became AGM I even got to help with the draft. I am wanting one more chance at an AGM position and I think Miami is the place for me. I am also very good at keeping locker rooms active, and positive. I am great at welcoming new people and showing them around.. or at least that’s what fong said... anyways - I think I am the perfect fit for your team, and would be more than glad to be your first ever AGM. Yours truly, The 6 foot 3, 198 pounds of beauty, Alex Bridges

  22. Alex Bridges Class of S70 What is a Veteran? The Definition: a person who has had long experience in a particular field. What it means to me: To me, a veteran is a player who is almost at the end of his career, who has been around for a long time, and knows a lot about what he does. A veteran is like a school tutor. He is there when you need him, just to help you succeed. He has one goal and it’s not the net usually. It’s to get the young guys in the best position possible for success, and to teach them, so the team he once was a player of, can have a successful future. They never really ask for anything in return, they just do it for the good of the team. If your a veteran, your the guy in the locker room, that everybody gets along with, and never has really had any problems, and if you did, you’ve learned from it, and you use it to teach the younger ones what not to do, so they don’t relive what you did. What it means to the VHL: In the VHL there are plenty of veterans. There is all of the BoG, and all staff are mentors. They’ve been around for a while, and know what and what not to do, so you can stay out of trouble. They are very responsible, and respective, and always know what the right thing to do is. When I think of player tutors, I think of people like Hunter-Hearst or Thomas Landry II, because when i’ve needed them, they’ve always been there to help me, and I appreciate them for that. They have never done anything to get me in trouble, or done anything wrong to me, and they’ve both been around for a super long time. Conclusion: In conclusion, I agree with the definition given in the dictionary. A a veteran is a person/player who is very experienced and skilled in a certain way, and is always there to help you when you need it. Veterans are the best types of players there are, they are like a parent, and teammate at the same time. Thank you to all the veterans/staff in the VHL currently, you do a lot for this league, and I appreciate it. That concludes my summary of what a veteran is, and what it means in the VHL. -Alex Bridges (Word Count: 410)
