Halfway there!

Don't need the TPE this week, answering for fun! 1) I wished him well. I saw him grow while he was in Helsinki into an excellent Top 4 Defenseman and I think he'll have success in Vancouver. 2) I had played against Emi many times, both in the VHLM and in the VHL and it was always a blast. When I saw that Emi was requesting a trade, I was hoping that Helsinki would have their hand on the table trying to get a deal done and we did. Welcome to Helsinki, Emi! You'll love it here! 3) Grittiest Titan has to be Okada. He's always grinding for loose pucks and isn't afraid to take hits. Ola is right behind him though in true viking fashion. Gentle giant is a tough one. I'm not sure about that one. Tag-Team I would definitely pick Spaz. His spanking powers would be helpful. 4) We're stuck in a bad spot right now, but we're just preparing for our best hockey. I think this time we'll finish the job. 5) I am a gamer through and through. I'll play any kind of games but I love multiplayer games a lot. Cyberpunk 2077 is one of my favourite upcoming games, while I can't wait for Sephiroth to be playable in Smash Bros Ultimate later this month. 6) I originally played goalie up until the age 12, but someone told me to play forward because I had a good shot. They helped me make the right choice. 7) I wish I knew how good the VHL was a while back. Would have joined WAAAY earlier. 8.) "Helsinki is good, article pending" 9) Alright ima head out 10) I would do any of the three, but a good book definitely hits the spot. I can't really think of any I have recently read to recommend though. 11) I haven't kept up with my Zodiac sign but I believe I am a Taurus 12) Patty is a nickname that has stuck with me through the VHL. Laine is also another one so I've got a few.

@fishy I am so happy that you decided to come out and talk about this. I'm sure there was a lot of nervous energy and stress thinking about how the community would react, but I appreciate your openness to share this with us. You are such a strong person to come out by yourself and do this. I have nothing but respect for you

I insist I can do it by myself, I can do this amount of work no sweat! Besides, it is the season of giving after all.

Wait for real?

I guess betting on myself wasn't the best option so far. Lots of race left to run though.

Means a lot for younger guys like me and @JigglyGumballs! Merry Christmas @MattyIce and Merry Christmas VHL!

Merry Christmas, VHL! I have decided to do something I think will be a lot of fun. I love to create, whether it be graphics or writing. So in the spirit of giving, I will be making graphics or writing for anyone in the community. All you need to do is the following things: Graphics: The only things I will need for a graphic is the following: Player Name (VHL Player) Team Number Player Render (Real Player used in Graphic) Writing: There are no rules when it comes to writing. Feel free to throw an idea at me and I'll happily write something up for you! I am also willing to do collabs if that is something that interests you. If you want any of these two things (or both) just leave a reply below Merry Christmas Everyone! - PatrikLaine

Just over 2 minutes into this third period with Helsinki leading 2-1. Vikingstad wins the draw....he sends it back to the point for Elsby....Elsby back down for Vikingstad who drops it to Laine below the net. Laine circles the net going for the lacrosse move and........HE SCORED! PATRIK LAINE REACHES INTO HIS BAG OF TRICKS! Wait a minute, we got a scrum breaking out here. Laine was hit after the goal by Block. Vikingstad and a few others jumped into it but the refs have managed to break everything up. Can we get an analysis on that, Johnny? Sure thing. See, as Laine is completing the lacrosse goal, Block is already leaning into the hit. Laine tucks it in and instantly gets lit up by Block. Vikingstad, Elsby and a few others all jump in there but the refs managed to keep everything under control. Back to you, Mike. Helsinki now goes up 3-1 on Laine's 12th goal of the season. Okada wins the faceoff back to Summers..... Summers sends it along the boards to VaakaNAINEN AND HE IS HAMMER BY OHRADKA AND THAT'S GONNA DRAW A CROWD. OHRADKA ABSOLUTELY LEVELED VAAKANAINEN. You said it Mike and this is a clean hit. Simply just Ohradka stepping up in the netural zone, Vaakanainen had his head down too. This could be a continuation of the blood left over from the hit on Laine. Faceoff coming up here at the blue line. Okada and Ohradka to draw. Okada wins the draw back AND HERE THEY G!. WE HAVE 3 FIGHTS BREAKING OUT. OKADA VS OHRADKA AT CENTRE ICE, VAAKANAINEN VS TARANTINO AT THE TOP OF THE BLUE LINE AND SUMMERS VS BLOCK IN THE OFFENSIVE ZONE! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! OKADA AND OHRADKA ARE JUST HAMMERING EACH OTHER! THE REFS WILL TRY TO SEPARATE THE TWO OF THEM. THINGS HAVE COOLED BETWEEN SUMMERS AND BLOCK AND VAAKANAINEN AND TARANTINO HAVE BEEN SEPARATED! Well, this is result of the tension that has been brewing here for a while. It all started with that first hit on Laine after the goal and it erupted when Vaakanainen got dropped in the netural zone Ohradka. We've seen fights between these two teams before, but not like this. We'll head to commercial break as the refs sort everything out. Alright we are back here from Helsinki and it appears the refs have sorted everything out. There is a lot of penalties to go through so I'll list them all here: Valtteri Vaakanainen (HSK) for Fighting (Major) at 2:24 Gary Tarantino (PRG) for Fighting (Major) at 2:24 Hiroshi Okada (HSK) for Fighting (Major) at 2:24 Ondrej Ohradka (PRG) for Fighting (Major) at 2:24 Erik Summers (HSK) for Fighting (Major) at 2:24 Cinnamon Block (PRG) for Fighting (Major) at 2:24 Gabriel Akerstrom (HSK) for High sticking (Minor) at 2:24 Jared Spaz (HSK) for Boarding (Minor) at 2:24 Thomas Landry II (PRG) for Roughing (Minor) at 2:24 Seabass Perrin (PRG) for Roughing (Minor) at 2:24 In case the viewers are wondering where the extra penalties came from, besides those three fights, Akerstrom, Spaz, Landry and Perrin were all involved in a scrum in the Helsinki defensive zone. Our cameras couldn't quite reach it, but the correct penalties have been handed out as we resume play here in the 3rd. (559 words)

You hate to see it. I don't know what events led up to this and I think they should be kept behind closed doors. Hoping you stay, but make the decision you think is right for yourself @Emi

Tried a plain, odd style with this but got practice by swapping the logo on the helmet.
