It’s a fair point. I just don’t want to see people have questions about this getting buried by everyone posting links when, in reality, updaters are more than capable of seeing that the work was done. I’m not sure if the sister sites just want more structure of if their updating queue isn’t as advanced but we’re more than capable without the extra links.

With the New York Americans being eliminated from the playoffs we figured it was time to announce the league’s 2nd worst kept secret, behind only the Malmo expansion. Obviously @Spade18’s activity this season was less than ideal and while we hope he will one day return to full activity levels within the league he decided, and the league agreed, that it was best to give the team to someone else that can do the historic franchise justice. So, with that said, it is the @Commissioner team's great pleasure to announce that @Esso2264 is the new General Manager of the New York Americans! Obviously this does mean he will be stepping down from his role as GM of the Ottawa Lynx and the @VHLM Commissioner team will be announcing a new GM for that franchise soon. For now we thank Spade for his GM tenure and wish Esso all the best.

No, welfare replaces the 6 TPE PT. He brings it up because it’s not really fair to give you 4 when doing welfare (literally doing nothing) would also get you 4.

I’m not saying everyone is going to be an amazing artist, we all start somewhere. There needs a certain level of effort to get the full 6 though. It’s up to @DollarAndADream ultimately, I’m just bringing it to his attention.

It’s up to @DollarAndADream but I’m gonna say this probably needs a bit more effort, especially for a doubles week. This is a single image with a few lines of text and some logos (which aren’t even the proper cut ones based on the edges being chopped off some and the backgrounds) thrown in.

You don’t need to post in here to prove you did it guys. Just do the work and claim the bonus as “other” without a link. There’s a spot for a description and you can point out what’s it’s for, the updaters can check that you’ve done what you say.

Yeah, I think the idea was good at first but GM’s are clearly taking advantage of it a bit now. When we first started it they picked logical guys as it’s designed but then we saw a few good players (though not the team’s top players) getting missed so a lot of GM’s starting putting in fringe players knowing their top guys would get in anyway. I don’t hate the concept of the GM choice but it definitely cheapens it a bit when you get guys that, by their own admission, didn’t have good seasons instead of guys that maybe didn’t have the most amazing seasons ever but were solid.

Normally I would get my last couple of TPE every week from Trivia but being a good TPE whore I can’t do that if I want those sweet bonus TPEz so here we are, talking about the playoffs. I figured predicting them might as well be a thing I try; theoretically I should know the sim as well as anyone after all right? So let’s get going. Round 1: vs. Normally I would have said Riga takes this in 6, that’s how I was feeling before yesterday. But nope, those pesky Swiss bastards managed to do the in-thinkable (IMO) and sweep the Reign so there we are; Davos takes it in 4. vs. Right now this series is sitting tied at 2 a piece. Honestly if I was expecting either series to be a sweep it would have been this one so colour me surprised. Still though, I think the Wolves are playing with their food a bit. So long as Sterling shows up this is Vancouver’s to lose, I’m thinking they take the next two and Vancouver wins in 6. Round 2: vs. The Titans were pretty dominant over everyone in the regular season but that doesn’t mean much come the playoffs as we all know. Fittingly the only team to actually beat them 4 times, enough to take a playoff series, was Davos. Obviously the Dynamo will cling to this hope and I don’t foresee it being a complete blowout but I don’t think Davison’s play can hold up against Helsinki either. I’m gonna say Helsinki wins it in 6. vs. Vancouver May have finished a bit below Calgary in the regular season but don’t let that fool you, they were making huge strides after the trade deadline with Glade really pushing them hard into the post season. Calgary is a strong team but it’s also full of known underachievers in the playoffs (aka everyone from Seattle) so I think they’ll put up a fight but ultimately Vancouver will pull it off in 7. Round 3: vs. The ultimate battle, who’s cursed more: myself or Beaviss. I think Sterling can realistically get Vancouver this far but he’d have to play like a man possessed to stop the Helsinki offence that steam rolled the regular season (in case you forgot, HSK’s goal differential was 52 points higher than anyone else, 77 more than Vancouver). I think unfortunately for the Wolves Helsinki’s offence will simply be too much to handle and they’ll Finnish (sorry, couldn’t resist) things off quickly with Helsinki winning it in 5.

It was the norm back in the day. Easier to give the PSD and answer some questions than to build a whole tutorial. There’s trust with doing it though, people need to know PSD’s are purely for learning and not to be abused and ripped.
