I mean you wanted the Boulet didn’t you? More hits means more PIM. Mind you Beau seems to be taking it a bit extreme with the PIM and still has fewer points and hits than Thompson. So better luck next time

You’re a bit more complicated because you didn’t have a player. Generally we don’t allow claims of things done when someone was without a player unless we specify that it’s alright in advance. Basically you’re asking to back claim from before your player existed which isn’t really a thing. Because it’s a bit complex I’m gonna say this: you can claim week 3 for this week (whenever the hell the answers come out) and obviously claim onward but week’s 1 and 2 aren’t claimable for you because your player didn’t exist. Obviously you still get the uncapped bonus at the end from them though.

That’s fine. Vic taking his time with these is making it a bit confusing but ultimately the key is that they can be back claimed or used in a current week, it doesn’t really matter much. You aren’t getting more than 1 a week, that’s the key.

It’s just the natural progression of the league. Each season is roughly 8 weeks so add a VHLM season in and each full length career runs for roughly a year and a half. By that point most people have already maxed out their player and/or gotten kinda bored of having the same player and are ready to move on anyway. Honestly I’m enjoying Thompson but my build has been done for 2 seasons now so I’m pretty much just riding the point train until I retire. I find you’re ready to move on generally earlier than you’d think you would be.

Safer option yeah. Personally I back claim it because I’m pretty confident in my ability to get the answers and if I miss out on 1 or 2 TPE I don’t really mind. However if you want to squeeze the most TPE out it’s best to play it safe with something like reviews and just use trivia for the uncapped bonus at the end.

Don’t worry about it. You have 2 capped TPE left that you can earn the week before so when week 2 results come out you can just claim them for that one instead. Basically just swaps week 1 and 2; it’s not a big deal.

Technically week 3 would be the ones ending June 2nd. Week 2 would be ending May 26th. But Yes, you can always back claim so long as the work was done during the week in question. You can’t, for example, do 5 MS’ in a single week and claim for the last month that you missed but if you did an MS every week for the last month and forgot to claim them you can always go back and claim earlier weeks.

@DollarAndADream can confirm but I’m gonna say changing the text on a logo doesn’t constitute a 6 TPE PT. This seems like more of just a joke GFX which is fine but should be posted in the GFX discussion section not as a PT.

@Peace I respect the fire you have in this situation but let’s tone it down a bit. If this were a new member I’d see the concern with them potentially having low minutes but I don’t think it likely @Green is going anywhere if his minutes suck. I myself have joined stacked teams at the deadline to win founder’s cups, it happens. Old members sometimes are fine taking reduced VHLM minutes to get on teams they want and as long as it’s their minutes being reduced and not a new player getting cut or something there’s nothing entirely wrong with it. You are right, the point of the VHLM is retention, not winning. However retention isn’t much of a concern with re-creates so I’m fine with it as long as their minutes are what takes the hit. If I start seeing re-creates on loaded teams immediately getting good minutes then I’m more concerned.

The player will yeah. Players can only play a total of 8 seasons in the VHL before they are retired. However the member can continue freely with a new player.
