Something strange is happening for Landon Wolanin. Considering last season’s disastrous start, this strong offensive, and most importantly, goalscoring, start comes as a shock for most. Also surprising in the impact of these goals. Leading the league with 5 game winners already, just 3 off of last season’s total, 14 games in. It would be obviously optimistic to assume this 56 goal, 113 point pace would continue, but it isn’t unreasonable that 40 goals, 100 points could be in the question, especially as long as he is riding shotgun with Daniel Janser. Landon has been trying to pull his weight though, fighting for the league shot lead, and still not even seeing a 10 SHT%. Calgary has been very kind to Landon so far this season, having him on the 1st unit, including PK and PP. The wins have been coming, so there seem to be very few concerns, but if things start to slip, expect Landon to rejoin Leandro Goncalves, and see what kind of magic they can conjure up.

currently working on some more testing, and can confirm so far I've seen very little relationship between DI and PIMs on the whole, although that could mostly be the fact that no one really invests in it.
