1. Well, believe it or not, Rose and Zod are gone. We'll be doing a little more draft picking. Do you think we'll have a strong enough team next season to compete? We should have had enough to compete THIS season. Who knows what with the ridiculous results STHS produces. If you look at our S(75) players, we should have enough to be more than competitive, but somehow GM @hedgehog337 has pissed off the STHS gods. So the real question here is whether or not he will be forgiven. 2. Looking at the VHLM, the Mississauga Hounds have only lost 4 games! Is there such thing as a guaranteed cup? This relates to question # 1. Does Simon favour the Hounds. That's what it seems to be all about. Since @Ledge_and_Dairy posted this presser, Mississauga apparently have lost 5 more games, 9 in total. They still are 11 points up on their nearest rival and are on a 4 game winning streak. There is no such thing as a guarantee, but the Hounds are certainly favoured to win. 3. With maybe too many players in the VHL, the BoG has to do something. What do you think? Expansion? Another league? Another league seems way to complicated so, I would think that the current VHL league might expand, or the salary cap could be increased, or there will be a minimum roster size (expanded from what it currently is along with a cap increase or a combination of the above. The BOG has been very secretive about this other than one post that hinted at something to come. We shall see. 4. If you could get rid of one month of the year, which one would it be? Likely February as it is typically a cold month with not a lot of sunshine. Having said that, February is normally when I go south to soak up sun, sand and margaritas. So idk. 5. What is a believable conspiracy theory? (Please don't do any research for this!) I don't subscribe to conspiracy theories. So likely what I find the most believable is that, given all the conspiracy theories ot there, that there might be one that has a grain of truth (or not). 6. Why do round pizzas come in square boxes? OK, so this is like the question from Bulletproof Monk. The Monk says: “Why do hot dogs come in packages of ten, but hot dog buns only come in packages of just eight?” So, just be happy with what you've got because you can always get a pizza. Or another answer could be that square pizzas would not fit a round box.

Here's an example of a recreate when the original player was at an elite level Thanks @Devise Base TPE 69 (System) Practice Facility 2 (System) VHL.com Article/Podcast/GFX 2 MexicanCow123 Job Pay Simmer 8 MexicanCow123 Junior Review 5 MexicanCow123 Donation 5 TPE 5 MexicanCow123 Doubles Week 6 MexicanCow123 Press Conference 2 MexicanCow123 Week Ending February 21, 2021 99 So Devise's original player would have had like 975 tpe
-
My understanding of this is that you start with 30 tpe and carryover 4% of 139 tpe, so, 6 tpe (maybe 5). Your new player = 36 tpe. The 50 is the max carryover to get that you must have like 1250 tpe from your old player

13.3 - Re-Creating Rules Once you retire, you cannot make player store purchases with your retired player's balance. If your previous player wins any awards after he is retired, you may claim the TPE for those awards on your new player. If you retire during the season, you may claim that seasons prediction points on your new player. However, prediction point multipliers bought in the player store are not allowed to be claimed on a new player. If you purchased one and retired, you will receive only your base prediction points. You cannot claim unclaimed point tasks or any other unclaimed contest/giveaway TPE on a new player without direct permission from a Commissioner. All players begin with 30 TPE, any adjusted starting TPE or carryover TPE is added to the starting 30. 13.4 - TPE Carry Over Any player retired with over 50 total TPE will earn carryover at a rate of 4% of the retiring players TPE, up to a maximum of 50 TPE. Carryover will be earned on top of the 30 starting TPE that all players receive. This means the maximum starting TPE is 80 (30 base + 50 carryover).

Swords Wins Continental Cup As many of you know, I have been a proponent of establishing a VHL team in my home town of Swords. The reasons are many and some of them even valid. However, since this is The Twilight Zone (a.k.a. Alternate Reality) and since some of you may not have read about Swords in the various iterations of Moose Tracks, this is an article that covers the Slashers Continental Cup win in Season 93 (also known as “The Gilmour Season”). The area known as Swords was first awarded a VHL franchise in Season 89. During that inaugural season the team was forced to play their home games in nearby Parry Sound on an artificial outdoor rink as their own arena had yet to be completed. Season 89 was a very cold one, not only from an environmental point of view, but also from a team perspective as the Slashers only managed 12 wins and 3 ties (resulting in OTL’s) in a 72 game season. The expansion draft had obviously been particularly unkind to Swords. New GM Madonna Cannoli vowed, at the end of the season, to vastly improve his team. Using the draft process and some artful, but possibly questionable, trading tactics Cannoli began to assemble the juggernaut that would become affectionately known locally as the Swords Sledgehammer. The nickname in itself suggests the type of hockey that was played during the few seasons that the team was intact. It took 3 seasons of mediocre hockey for all the pieces to be assembled whether through trades or waiting for the youngsters to develop. One of the elite players on the Slashers was Dancer McDangle. Dancer was a Swords native son who had been drafted at the tender age of 27. Dancer is also known for being a younger cousin of current VHL player Isau DaMoose. We can only assume that cousin Isau influenced Dancer as he developed rapidly and with his highly skilled wingers, dominated the league in Season 93 with a 123 point season, 78 goals and 45 assists. During the Slashers legendary Season 93 they amassed 62 wins, easily the best in the VHL. Of note, as well, the team accumulated 1567 minutes in penalties, Grizz Lee Bare, a third line left winger accounting for 463 PIM all by himself. Needless to say, Grizz Lee also won all of the 18 fights in which he was involved and, no doubt, initiated. That year, Season 93, Dancer McDangle led his team through the preliminary playoff rounds. Undefeated until the Slashers met the renowned Riga Reign in the cup finals. Riga had had a very successful season and were extremely motivated after their semi-final win against the Helsinki Titans. The Slashers won their first two home games easily, then the series moved to Riga. The morning before Game 3, McDangle nicked himself while shaving and was declared injured and unable to go. Riga came storming back, winning their two home games against the McDangle-less Slashers. Dancer recovered sufficiently to play in Games 5 and 6 which the Slashers won and captured their first Continental Cup. Shortly after the Cup win, Dancer McDangle suddenly and unexpectedly retired in the prime of his career. He went on to become a meerkat herder in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa and never played professional hockey again. In a brief farewell interview, McDangle disclosed that he was allergic to ice. 571 Words 5 graphics -8777 Brain Cells To be claimes as a PT Week of May2

There is disappointment in Riga. Recently the Reign was a mere 1 point out of the playoffs. After the last games however, they have slipped to last place in the European Conference and, in fact, the entire VHL. This is a cause for concern and bewilderment for the whole team as there should be no way that such a talent-laden team should fail to develop the chemistry necessary to at least make the playoffs. There is some urgency in the Locker Room as the trade deadline approaches and, of course, there is still hockey to be played. If the current trend continues, it is feared that the Reign will be on the outside looking in.

1. We passed Malmo and Moscow and are now one point out of Davos' playoff spot. CAN WE DO IT? Unfortunately we went for a slide since this presser was posted. I have my doubts as to our success this year. 2. Warsaw currently holds the league lead. Who do you see winning the cup? Warsaw is extremely strong. They are currently 9 points ahead of second place Chicago overall. I like Warsaw to win, but anything can happen.....as we well know !!!! 3. Is there anyone else thinking that @RedSus might break the all time TPE record? I hope he does, but it will require a great deal of effort. 4. If I eat myself will I become twice as big or just disappear?(hedge asked for a science question, well here it is) I think the net result would be zero because you would gain what you lose. 5. Do babies poop in the womb? Yes and no. This happens to about 12 -20 % of babies. 6. Would you rather own a horse the size of a cat or a cat the size of a mouse? Neither

1. We're finally stringing some Ws together! Is it time to climb the standings? The winning streak was short-lived !! Lost 2 to Moscow who is below us in the standings. Kinda hard to climb the standings when you lose to those below you. 2. What the heck, the LA Stars are winning? Is this a fluke? I don't think so. They are pretty solid at all positions. 3. Is there any certain Reigner you could see having a really hot second half? If anyone steps up I would expect it to be one of our elite players. i.e. General Zod, Ray Shields, James Rose. 4. What is something popular that annoys you? The theme music from CNN. 5. If you could invite 3 people to dinner, living or dead, who would they be? Tie Domi, Eddie Shack and John Ferguson. My table would be roped off like a boxing ring !! 6. What is the weirdest smell you have ever smelled? The first time I ever smelled the ocean. That was pretty strange. Shoutouts: I love how you guys pulled out some science, makes me seem professional! Also, you're all getting traded for not saying my profile pic was the best @Ledge_and_Dairy

Thank-you. bro' (?). I am just a passenger on this ride. The upside to all this is that I get to use some of my Canada-wide LD.

Well, ya...at least as far as the Vaduz Vandals are concerned

Whoooa, man. That hurts. My Easter sadness is that, to this day I haven't seen my daughter and her family for 14 months. They only live 200 km away..............sadness

OK, Frosty...still lotsa respect and I still want to hear what you have to say.
-
That makes it incredibly tough. Was there no way that you could have extricated yourself and still retained your integrity ?? I do that on a regular basis both here and in RL. 'course my RL is a pretty smooth one right now.

First off, remember that you choose to be in that position. You don't have to be. Secondly....but should be firstly....I have a great deal of respect for you and many other VHL players, whether they be "management" or not. And, so, I enjoy your articles and try to understand what has happened to you. In future articles, though, if you are sharing stories about the VHL, my experience has been 100% positive. People have been friendly and helpful. If I were to get traded...no biggie....that comes with the territory. In the forum banter (read:drama) I have always tried to see both sides of the coin. I look forward to your next piece.
